Carmela is a wonderfully loving dog with a joyful, playful spirit. She especially enjoys jumping around and has an abundance of energy. Although I have taken her to training classes, we didn’t make the progress I had hoped for. She learns quickly and still has that sweet puppy heart. She adores her toys, treats, snuggle blankets, and her big pink pillow. Unfortunately, I am no longer able to keep her. Her bark is very high-pitched, and with my hearing aids I receive frequent warnings, which has made it too difficult to manage. Carmela is very gentle and affectionate with my grandchildren, but she is a jumper; now that she has grown, she’s taller than my granddaughter when she jumps. She only wants to play—she doesn’t realize that her enthusiasm can cause issues. She truly is my little spring. I had her fixed hoping it might help with her barking, but sadly it did not. Bailey is an 8 and a half year old Australian Shepard who loves her walks and big open spaces! Shes great at playing fetch as well and loves to play! Bailey is a timid pup but very friendly and good with other dogs. Baileys ideal hone would be in a house with a yard for her to be able to roam and explore. While she does like to explore at home she does have some anxiety while driving and would ideally need a home where she isn't moved around often as well.

Rosalita and her sister Marietta were dumped in the country. A lady contacted me and brought them to me. Rosalita is the sweetest girl. She is happy, confident, and spunky. She weighs about 20 lbs and has two different colored eyes. She is great with dogs of all sizes and with cats. She is the perfect pocket-sized doggie friend. She is currently still in Oklahoma where she was rescued but she can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well. She has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport at one of our transport drop off locations below. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, we will either find a local foster to take her in or she will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. **Please note this is pet is currently out of town pet but we will transport this pet to Portland for you when adopted. All fees listed include transport fees.** Meet Copper! Copper is a very sweet, playful guy! He is around 4 years old, and at his last vet visit weighed in at 60 pounds. We think Copper probably has some Australian Shepherd, along with several other breeds including possibly Belgian Shepherd, Greyhound or Carolina dog. Copper is a beautiful and happy boy. He’s lucky to be alive! Copper came to us from the shelter at a time when he was minutes from losing his life because he had an upper respiratory infection. We are so glad he is with us now, and he is in a training program getting ready for his forever home! Copper does well in a crate, he also does well on a leash. Copper would love to be a hiking or running buddy! His foster mom said he is doing well at learning house training. Copper loves to play with his doggy friends especially tug-of-war with the big rope toys and will do wonderful at a daycare or dog park with other active and playful dogs!
