Meet Banner! He may be 8 years old, but he still has plenty of pep in his step. Banner loves tug, fetch, and a good game of keep away. He's always ready for playtime! He's incredibly people friendly and absolutely adores kids. Banner is house trained, though he's known to help himself to any snacks left within reach; he's a bit of an opportunist! Banner would do best in a home without other dogs, unless he's adopted with his sister Sage, who he gets along with beautifully. This Aussie is one happy boy, and he will bring abundant joy wherever he ends up! **Lucas is currently being fostered in Houston TX but is available for out of state adoption via rescue transport at no added fee to adopters. We offer video chat for you to meet your pup prior to committing to adoption, and have a guaranteed return process for all our dogs** Lucas is your all around adventure pup who loves to run, play, swim, repeat! This dog has a ton of energy and just loves to be right beside his human best friend! He was found as a stray on the streets of Houston TX, where he was rescued by a good Samaritan who made sure he was safe, and vetted. Unfortunately, they didn't have a lot of space and Lucas started to get anxious being in such confined spaces with no way to run. Being the breeds he is, this caused him to mentally deteriorate a little and thus he was brought to us. Lucas has since settled in beautifully now that he has land to run in, friends to play with, toys aplenty and all the water time he could ask for. While he can be a little needy at times, we don't blame him given the confined spaces he endured before being brought here. Anyone who loves to run and was cooped up for as long as he was would be! However, he has really started to thrive with the right environment. Lucas is a very intelligent dog who is eager to please and quick to learn. He picks things up quickly, and is bold and confident in his learning style so it doesn't take much at all. Treats, toys, a good belly rub, all are equal enough to him to work for and he definitely will work for it! He is crate trained, and has done well to introduction to all things home life. He really loves toys, and is constantly looking to play, fetch, run, and seek all the fun things! He also really loves the water, and any chance he gets he is in the pool, which, given how hot the summer has been we don't blame him! He would do great with a family looking for someone to inject energy and life into the home. He is 100% a persons dog, and would do best with someone who has the time and space for him to grow and play. Even though he is a husky, he is a relatively quiet dog who isn't a loud barker, though he will whine if he wants a toy and isn't seeming to get our attention for it. But otherwise, no howling here! Journey is a 1 1/2 year old, medium-sized Aussie who is healthy, up to date on vaccinations, neutered, and house-trained. I’m looking to find a loving, responsible home where he will receive plenty of attention, exercise, companionship, and lifelong care. Journey is very playful and energetic. He gets along with other dogs of all sizes and children. He does not like cats. I want to find a home that is a good fit for his personality and needs, with someone who is prepared to make a long-term commitment. Freckles across his nose, a little black Batman mask, and happy feet that give away exactly how much he likes you—Holliday has a way of making himself very easy to love. Holliday Heart is a toy enthusiast, a wonderful dog friend, and an affectionate boy with firm ambitions of being someone’s lap dog. There’s a sparkle in his eyes that gets even brighter when someone stops to love on him. Spend a little time together and it becomes very easy to picture him being yours. He has spent time with dogs of all shapes, sizes, and personalities, and his social skills give him plenty of friends to choose from. He reads their cues, respects their boundaries, and knows that some dogs want a wrestling partner while others would prefer a polite hello and a little space. He can happily join in a good, rowdy play session and comfortably coexist with dogs who have a different idea of a good afternoon. His best match would include another playful dog. Holliday has so much fun sharing his days with a buddy, and a companion who enjoys a little romping and wrestling would be a lovely fit. Watching him play is its own kind of joy- loose, happy, and thoroughly enjoying being a dog. Toys are another reliable way to win him over. Holliday loves having something fun to play with, and he brings an endearing enthusiasm to the things he enjoys. But he also knows how to settle. After some playtime, he’s happy to relax and keep you company. A dog friend, a few good toys, and his people nearby would make a pretty wonderful everyday life for this boy. And his people will get so much love! Holliday leans into affection with his whole heart, coming close for attention, nestling in for kisses, and making a very persuasive case for lap access, on this end we cant understand why anyone would deny him! His happy tippy-taps are especially sweet: a little celebration because someone he likes is right there, giving him a reason to dance. He has the kind of affection that makes an ordinary evening on the couch feel like exactly where you’re supposed to be. Holliday has also shown very encouraging signs around cats. Based on what we’ve seen, a home with a feline friend may be a possibility, and our team can help talk through the right match and introductions. He’s smart, responsive to guidance, and very interested in earning a treat, which he takes ever so gently. Those qualities make continuing his everyday training a lovely way to build a connection. One icy blue eye, one soft caramel brown eye, and a personality that makes even an ordinary Tuesday feel like an adventure. Stella Bella is a gorgeous girl with a happy heart and a silly streak that is every bit as irresistible as her face. Our best guess is that she’s an Australian Shepherd/Husky mix, but with animal rescue, breed is always a bit of a mystery. What we do know is that she is beautiful inside and out, with enough personality to keep you thoroughly entertained. Stella is very sweet, affectionate, and social. She loves being part of the fun and has that happy, curious spirit that makes you want to bring her along. Imagine your life with this girl: a walking buddy who is excited to see where the path leads, a cheerful face beside you on your next adventure, and a loving companion to enjoy the everyday moments with. Her gorgeous eyes might catch your attention first, but her personality is what will keep you hooked. She is dog friendly and has done well with all the dogs we’ve introduced her to so far.
