Story
Merle is a family dog! He wants to be wherever you are. He is good with other dogs and loves kids. He enjoys going for long walks and walks great on a leash he loves to have his ball thrown. Merle needs a lot of attention and exercise, and with our growing family we have found that we are unable to keep up with his needs and why we are considering rehoming him. A board Aussie is a destructive Aussie and we have had a lot of our personal items destroyed due to our inability to give Merle what he needs. We love to see him with a family or individual(s) who love to be outdoors and hike, and have the capability of taking him along. He is very smart and has a high drive to learn and please. He is also a big cuddle bug! He is housetrained, and he is kennel trained.

Story
Miss Pebbles is an energetic 4 year old puppy at heart! She is a beautiful tri-color Australian sheppard. She's a sweet, excited fur baby. She loves to play fetch with with all her toys, but especially with the Chuckit balls! She's smart and understands many commands and terms. My health is not good and I'm working many hours. It's not fair to Pebbles. She needs/ deserves more time with her humans. She pulls on leash and needs more training with this. We got a harness and she is better with it.

Story
Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- West Linn, OR Rooster (Roo) is an 1 year old Australian Shepherd and weighs 70 lbs, but the vet said he needs to get down to 60 lbs. He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on shots, and on heartworm prevention. Rooster is hostile around strangers! He is good with cats and dogs! He hasn’t been tested around older children. No younger children, due to his reactivity! He jumped up and bit the owner’s son’s young friend on the face as he was walking into their house. This was unprovoked, Rooster just ran out the door and bit him. The owner is surrendering him because of this bite and they have also had a lot of unforeseen circumstances come up. He needs to find a new furever home as soon as possible! If you think you can provide a great home for Rooster, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $150 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Rooster. Owner’s Contact Information: Bayley at bayleygelt@gmail.com.

Story
Best family dog! I am so sweet! Why do I not have a home? Likes dogs, humans, cats, walks and car rides! Please contact us to submit an application directly at Kzyrnr17@yahoo.com or info@dogdiggityrescue.com I would like a family looking for a Austrialian Shepherd mix. My owner had a medical issue and could no longer care for me. Rusty Bubbles is a ma le 5 mos old and 25 lb Austrialian Shepherd mix. I love people, toys, car rides, dogs etc. I am a semi energetic, very affectionate lad that likes playing with toys and hang out with my people. I am an indoor dog that will enjoy daily walks and some dog training. Courtesay post for Helotes Humane Society. L & S Dog Diggity Rescue is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 800,000 homeless pets. We save homeless and abandoned dogs and find them loving forever homes in other areas, where pet homelessness is not epidemic. All of our pets are located here, in San Antonio, and we partner with rescues to provide transportation for our pets to their new homes. Our adoption fee includes vet care (vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchipping, etc), as well as transportation and health certificate. Story
**Fostered in Camano Island, WA and ready for meet and greets!** Jeremiah looks more like a little chocolate lamb (mostly because he sometimes splays out his front legs and looks up at you with his sweet innocent gaze). This adorable boy will make you melt! His chocolate nose matches his brown coat, and the fuzzy white patch on his chest is irresistible, which works out because he really likes chest rubs. His adorable little short legs are to die for. This sweet puppy is mostly soft brown on his body, with patches of white around his nose, on his chin, down his chest, and on all four paws. His coat appears dark only until the full sun hits him – then you can see traces of the brindle pattern that he and his siblings share. And have you seen his stunning green eyes? This chocolate delight will be so stunning as he grows up! Jeremiah is mellow and sweet, and he loves to play between naps. He is very dog social and really thrives in the company of another dog. We do think he would do just fine as an only dog, but he would love the company of doggy friends or siblings. He is currently being fostered with multiple other dogs, and 2 cats as well. He is very gentle and respectful with his foster kittie siblings. Jeremiah is 5 months old and about 25 pounds, and we really aren't sure of his breeds. Truth be told, he's probably a delightful mix of multiple breeds. We think he will only be about 40 lbs full grown, but of course can't make any guarantees. Already potty trained and crate trained, he's a smart little boy with lots of training potential. Jeremiah has done great around children as young as 2. He is the biggest snuggle bug and really thrives on attention and affection from his people. His happy place is sleeping in your arms while you hold him like a little baby. He can be a tad bit shy at first, but that passes very quickly and then he's your bff. Jeremiah is still young, so he will need a family that can commit to training, socialization, and all the dedication puppyhood requires. His new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. The leash is still very new to him, so he will need training with that as well. Don't miss out on his sweet-as-milk-chocolate kisses! Apply today to add this little cutie to your family! One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $800.00 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $74 surcharge for transport. She was a rescue from a farm, she's generally pretty relaxed does well with kids and has previously had other dogs in the house. Not high energy, which is unusual for the breed but enjoys walks. Very intelligent and knows how to open doors and do other things! Likes to patrol the house at night. Can be skittish (likely due to recue conditions) with new people but warms up with some time

Story
***** Apply to adopt at: https://greatheartk9.com/finn ***** Finn is a 4.5 year old ‘mini’ Australian Shepherd. As with his breed, he is full of energy and extremely smart!! His favorite thing is to play fetch. He absolutely loves to learn new things and train. He enjoys putting his brain to work for mealtime with various puzzles and snuffle mats. Finn has challenges on walks with regards to reactivity towards people and dogs and will require continued training. He will also need his adopter to continue working on noise desensitization to triggers. Finn is on behavior modification medications and these will need to be continued for him to thrive. Finn is searching for a special person who is calm, patient and committed to positive reinforcement training. He would do best in a house with a large yard with space from neighbors and is used to his human working from home.. He cannot be in a home with either cats or children.
