History: Our Out of the Cold Rescue Effort was a great success in welcoming over 180+ animals to rescue from rural areas in North Dakota before the cold set in. These animals are all so deserving and thankful to get a second chance in finding a forever home of their own! A Note from the Foster: Sweetie lives up to her name. She is full of love and ready to find her forever home. She’s got a beautiful white coat and is working on finding the right ways to show her abundance of love and happiness. Sweetie thinks she’s a lap dog and loves to lounge on the futon or the couch while snuggling her person. At 20 months she still has some puppy energy in her and burns that off playing chase with the resident dog in the backyard. Sweetie gets along well with other dogs about her same size. She doesn’t quite understand personal space and that she’s a bit bigger. She would be good as an only dog or with a sidekick to show her the ropes. Sweetie might be a bit much with younger kids but good for older kids that are active and love to play outside. Sweetie does have limited vision however she has adapted well to her foster home without accommodation. She does fine getting around without assistance and does the stairs without issues. Sweetie is still working on learning to take walks on a leash. Her vision and lack of confidence comes out. A fenced yard would be great for Sweetie. Her foster mom says Sweetie loves to run laps around the leaf piles in the backyard and has become comfortable navigating the yard on her own. Sweetie really is a sweetheart trying to live her best life. She loves to give licks and nose boops. Sweetie loves to carry her toys around the house and an occasional shoe or 2 have been found in her bed.

History: I am Jannali’s puppy and was born in rescue! Jannali is a beautiful mini aussie who arrived to rescue and surprise! Was expecting a litter of puppies. As her puppies continued to grow, we became more convinced they are aussie/poodle mixes of some sort based on their coat textures but we do not have confirmation on who dad was so cannot make any guarantees. They are a super sweet family who hopes to find their forever homes soon!

I’m Garner, the happiest, wiggliest mini-Aussie in the whole wide world! I wake up every morning like, “WOW!!! I HAVE LEGS FOR PRANCING AND A HEART FULL OF CHRISTMAS CHEER!!!” I’m pretty sure Santa personally approved me because I have maximum joy and eyes that sparkle like twinkle lights over Buddy’s favorite spaghetti dinner. Here are some VERY official facts about me: I LOVE PEOPLE! I run to them like Buddy runs through the revolving door—fast, excited, and in circles. I’m super smart. Mini Aussie brain = big elf energy. I learn new things FAST because treats are motivational (and delicious). I herd things. Snowflakes? Toys? Your slippers? I must gather them. It’s who I am. I LOVE TOYS. If it squeaks, crinkles, jingles, or even kind of looks like an elf—IT’S MY FAVORITE. Food? YEP. If you drop spaghetti (with or without syrup), I will be there in 0.0004 seconds. Zoomies. Don’t even get me started. I zoom like someone plugged me directly into the Christmas tree lights. I’m also very good at snuggling. Like, ELITE. If you sit down with a blanket, I will magically appear, like Buddy popping out from behind Christmas decorations.
