Isaac is a refined gentleman who prefers a life of balance. He’s the kind of guy who is just as happy patrolling the backyard as he is curled up at your feet while you read a book. Isaac is currently "learning how to dog." He didn't always know what toys were for, but he’s discovering the joy of play and would love a patient family to show him the ropes of a good game of fetch or tug. He is still coming out of his shell and has a lot of love to give. He is wonderful with children and other pets, making him an easy addition to almost any family dynamic. Isaac is looking for a home that appreciates his calm energy. He’d love a yard to explore (especially when it’s chilly out!) and a family that will continue to encourage his playful side as he builds confidence. Isaac would he would do best in a home with a fenced yard as he's currently building confidence with a leash. He can’t wait to meet you: we know you’ll fall in love. Isaac is estimated to be 2 years old and 30 lbs. Since we don’t know the dog’s actual genetics, this is just a guess on breed and size when grown. All dogs have had a vet examination, are up to date on all vaccinations, have been given dewormer and heartworm prevention. Dogs over 7 months have been heartworm tested. Hi! I’m Dixie! I’m about 2 years old, and I just finished raising a litter of eight puppies. Now I’m in Minnesota relaxing and soaking up all the love at my foster home, getting ready to find a forever family of my own. My foster family says I’m incredibly gentle, polite, and easy to have around. I’m potty trained, crate trained, and sleep quietly in my crate at night. In the mornings, I love to come out for some cuddles on the bed, and I’m a big fan of snuggling on laps and getting lots of pets. I live with three dogs and a cat at my foster home, and I get along great with everyone. I’m very well-mannered in the house and I walk nicely on a leash too. I still have a fun, playful side, but I’m happiest just being close to my people and loving on them. If you’re looking for a sweet, polite, and snuggly best friend, I might be your girl!
