I'm all fixed, didn't know I was broke, they said they gave me a chip, guess that's why my paws smell like Fritos? And they gave me shots, even tho I'm not 21 yet! I need a nice home with a big fenced in yard! Bonus if you have another dog I can play with! Please give me a chance as I really want to get out of this kennel!! I'm in Columbus but if you're POSITIVE you want me they can help get me to you if you're farther away but you gotta commit to me! Oh I do need $250 bail to bust outta this place. Nemo and Marlin are the brothers of Dory who has a meet and greet already set with an approved adopters shortly after her post! They are 1 year old basset beagle mixes about 27 pounds! They came to us from a local shelter. Nemo was neutered today and he is ready to go!!! Marlin will be neutered Monday and can go right after his procedure. They are located in Columbus at our vet. They will require homes with fenced in yards. If you are already approved you can email us to schedule a meeting. Ohbassetrescue@yahoo.com Approved applications must be within 6mo. He is a lovable and playful hound who gets along with other dogs, is housebroken and loves to be with his people! Boomer is up to date, chipped and neutered. He is a bit in the chonky side and could use the green bean diet as he is about 62 pounds. Boomers adoption fee is $250, he needs a home with a fence and his is being fostered in the Dayton/Kettering area. Hi ya everyone, let me introduce myself. My name is ShortStack, warm and squishy just like a stack of pancakes!!! I'm here searching for a family, a home...one that I can call my very own! I'm around 9 months (DOB 1/17/24) and doing all the things a youngster loves to do... exploring, eating, playing, napping, playing some more and of course snuggling. I'm still in that spongey stage of my life where I'm soaking up...everything! I come in at about 30lb and will be a pawsomely perfect mediumish size boy that should be just about fully growed up. Perfect for all your action packed adventures!!! I do have some anxiety that we've been working on (and I'm doing really good) but it would probably be best if I could have a family with another furry sibling and where my human(s) either worked from home or were retired. I do really well with people both tall and small and of course playing with the other foster pups is just the best thing next to milkbones!! AND I haven't even chased the resident kitty!! I'm already house and crate trained, and do well on and off leash. I have many features of a Lab but with the shorter legs of the Bassett so I really really love anything that involves water!!! I'm in search of a home to call my very own, to have the honor to call you...family!! I've got a whole bunch of love stored up ready to unleash on...YOU!!! When Irish eyes are smiling, does that mean they are happy? Or maybe they had too many pints at the pub? My eyes are smiling, and I am a non drinker, just want to have full disclosure here! Even though my eyes were smiling in these pictures. I was desperate for help for my little one, Lewis. You see, he was dying...full of internal and external parasites he really had no fight left in him and I knew it as his mother... so I used my Irish eyes to get us saved. AND IT WORKED!! Our lives are do amazing now, Lewis is alive and well after some very intense care, and ADOPTED INTO AN AMAZING HOME!!! I am not ever producing more babies, so it is all good! Now I get my turn for love, comfort and safety and a FOREVER HOME!! I am an adorable girl, about 50# of low-rider basset/heeler-ness. I am great with other dogs and like to play keep away! I am ready when you are, do your stuff so we can ride off into the sunset, in air conditioning, of course!
