Gypsy loves her walks, is getting better and better on leash, and would make a fantastic hiking buddy. Please note that Archie will not be available for adoption until late November. His neuter is scheduled for November 18 however we will speak with anpproved Adopter’s beforehand. Archie is a one year-old basset hound. He is a sweet boy who does great with other dogs and loves people. He his house trained, his foster family has not left him in a crate as he has done fine without it. He will need a home with a fenced in yard. Older children only please. Preferred at 10 and up. Archie has some guarding issues so he will need a family who is willing to continue his training and let him know what is expected of him. He is a young boy so he will learn quickly under the proper guidance! He is being fostered near Dayton Ohio. He is currently on some antibiotics which is preventing him from being neutered until later in the month. Winston is a very young active dog who will need a young active family willing to teach him to be a good dog! Winston needs some work on manners, and walking nicely on a leash. Due to his active nature he would not be a good dog for seniors or  home with younger children. He will need a home with a fenced in yard and another young active dog would help him! He is currently in a foster home with other dogs and cats, however he is not that found of the cats and they are working with him.   Winston is up-to-date on his shots and neutered. He is currently being fostered near Ann Arbor Michigan and his adoption fee is $300. If you are interested in Winston or any of our other dogs, please visit our website and fill out the online application. Once submitted one of our volunteers will reach out to you. Oliver is an energetic basset hound Mix looking for a new home! He is young, just turning a year old, so will need an active family with a fenced in yard! He definitely is Basset hound and Long, but he is a little bit taller than the average Basset! He is just a sweet boy though that loves to explore outside and play! He will be neutered on October 23 and is up-to-date on all of his shots. He will be fostered in the Columbus area. He is good with other dogs, not yet tested around cats. His adoption fee is $300. Story
We recently adopted Dusty from a rescue agency, as he had been there only a couple of weeks. We have had Dusty for about 2 1/2 months, he truly is a great dog, I just don’t have a lot of time to be with him due to having to switch jobs and Dusty loves to be around people. I also have a couple older geriatric cats that I’ve had for over 14-15 years and they have just not adjusted well with him. He is high energy and very active. It seems as if he may have a been a hunting dog at some point in his previous life, he is very adventurous and always curious of everything. He would be a good fit for someone who can spend lots of time with him. He is very affectionate and loves to cuddle. He does have a bit of a food aggression problem, we have been working on him with this and he has improved a bit, we feed him separately and hand feed majorly and he’s been doing just fine. Other than that he really is a lovable and outgoing dog!
