Spot is a 2 and a half year old beagle basset mix hoping Santa brings him a new home for the holidays! He is about 26 pounds and up to date on shots and neutered. Spot is your typical beagle basset who is high energy and has a tendency to grab his own treats off the counters! He is house trained and crate trained and sleeps in his crate at night. He was relinquished to OBHR because he was one of 4 high energy dogs in the house and it was too much to handle. Basically because he is a hound dog! So if you are familiar with hounds he will fit right into your family! He will need a home with a fenced in yard and someone who can keep him active and exercised! He loves to play with his toys and snuggle, go for hikes and loves ice cubes and baby carrots! Miss Cannoli Mae Longbottom is a stunning 5-year-old, 60 lb Basset Hound with the most glorious long ears and soulful eyes to match. She came to rescue after life as a mill mom, and now she’s learning what it means to simply be a dog. Cannoli is a shy, gentle girl who prefers a calm, patient environment. While she may be cautious of sudden movements or loud, unexpected things, she truly enjoys being near her people and finds comfort just being in their presence. She loves taking her time sniffing and exploring the world around her, nose to the ground, ears trailing behind like a classic Bassett queen. She is doing well with her crate and potty training, and will need a fenced in yard as she currently prefers to potty off-leash. Above all, Cannoli is incredibly sweet. With a little patience and a lot of love, she will blossom into a loyal companion who will steal your heart one soft sniff at a time. Miss Cannoli Mae Longbottom is fostered in the Cincinnati area.
