Story
Meet Bea! Bea is a Beagle mix estimated to be about 6 years old and 45 lbs. She was surrendered to the rescue while in labor and ended up having 8 healthy babies. They’ve all been adopted and now it’s her turn. Here’s what you need to know: Bea’s requirements for her adoptive home- Humans who do not care about losing their personal space – She’s a cuddle bug to the max! #byebyepersonalspace A fenced in yard to run free – In true beagle fashion, once outside she is on her way to discover the yard #nosetotheground Either 1 calmer dog or no dogs in the home – Bea loves to keep to herself and doesn’t really play with other dogs. She has not been around cats. #missindependent A blanket to lightly chew on – She doesn’t chew to break it but uses it as a comfort blanket! (Foster will also send one home with her) #securityblanket Does well with children, but doesn’t need them – She does like to play “catch” just don’t expect her to bring back the toy just yet #stillinfetchtraining She is spayed, microchipped and up to date on all her vaccines. She is available now for adoption through Paws Across Pittsburgh, Springdale 15144, KL#16182. Apply for her at www.pawsacrosspittsburgh.com/adopt ##2364592##

Story
Marley is a loyal, fun-loving companion who wants to be your best friend. At 35 pounds & 2.5 years old, Marley is a medium sized pup with a heart full of love and energy. He's playful and very affectionate with his humans. He's already mastered some of the basics and responds to “sit”, “shake” and “down”.  Marley is housebroken and sleeps well in his crate at night as long as he can see his human.  He is not too fond of his crate during the day but tolerates it when necessary.  Marley loves taking walks and going for car rides.  He is very easy to bathe and is fully potty trained. Marley plays best with dogs his size or larger and would appreciate a home with a playful canine buddy but this is not a requirement.  He's a bit too curious (and enthusiastic) for feline friends, so no cats, please. Marley enjoys playtime, but he can nibble a little when he gets excited.  A home with older children who understand dog play would be ideal. Marley will be available for adoption on 6/19/2025 ##2429445##

Story
Rollo is a very sweet, calm dog.  He is approximately 5 years old and weighs about 40 lbs. He is a beagle mix (possibly, some Austrailian Shepherd by his coloring). Rollo is housebroken - he hasn't had any accidents or done any indoor marking. He loves to be with his person/people. He listens well and rarely barks unless someone comes to the door - or his foster fur brother barks first!  Rollo loves to go for walks and walks well on a leash.  He's friendly - approaches people for pats when walking and gets along well other dogs. Not sure how he is with cats or small children. He exhibits separation anxiety when left alone so would be best in a home where someone will be with him all day. We are working on crate training. Rollo will be available for adoption 6/15/2025 through Paws Across Pittsburgh. Paws Across Pittsburgh is located in Springdale, PA. Kennel license #16182. ##2425578##

Story
Meet Sam, the Lovable Gentleman Are you ready to welcome a charming companion into your life? Look no further than Sam, an 9-year-old beagle with a heart of gold. This seasoned gentleman is looking for an all adult forever home where he can enjoy the simple pleasures in life: long walks, cozy naps, and plenty of treats. Special considerations: due to some bite incidents in the past, Sam requires a home with experienced owners who understand canine behavior & can provide a safe environment. He thrives in a calm and predictable setting and requires a home without human children. Sam would also do best in a home where he would be the only dog. He does get along with some dogs; however, he can be rather picky about his companions. Sam would do best with adults who have experience with reactive dogs, adults who can provide a stable and calm environment and adults who are willing to invest time in building trust & offer plenty of love, patience & understanding.
