Brewski’s previous owner was hospitalized and could no longer care for this sweet guy so AALOC took him in. This young Border Collie mix is very playful and loving and gets along great with other dogs. Brewski is a medium-size dog, weighing in at about 45 pounds. According to the American Kennel Club the Border Collie are amazing dogs. They are particularly energetic, athletic, and playful and are known for being workaholics. Although a Border Collie will enjoy cuddle time, it is only after they have spent their energy with walks, play and training. In the canine world, Border Collies are among the most agile, balanced, and durable breeds. They are usually very good at agility training and giving a Border Collie a job is important to their happiness. Border Collies are also known for their intense ‘herding eye’ gaze and their almond-shaped eyes. Please apply to adopt Brewski at www.AALOC.org. Journey is a 1-2 year old female Border Collie mix. Journey found us after wandering our neighborhood for several days. Once we were able to get her into the safety of our backyard she warmed up quickly! Journey is great with people of all ages and loves playing with other dogs. She’s very sweet and playful pup! Journey loves walks, playing with the hose in the backyard, and playing with other dogs/people. Our vet estimates she is between 1-2 years old. She is fully vaccinated and likely spayed. She responds quickly to training and loves snacks! Journey’s looking for an active home with room to play, and would do well in a home with another dog and a yard. She’s also great with kids. If you love hiking or biking she will be an INCREDIBLE companion. Journey loves to snuggle and is also potty and crate trained. She’ll be your best good friend if you let her. 💜

Hi, I’m Linus and I’m the cutest freckled boy around! I’m only 1 year 4 months old, the shelter said I’m an Australian kelpie but my foster mom thinks I’m part Australian Shepard since my brother has long hair and Australian cattle dog since I have so many freckles! I’m about 30 pounds right now but still have some growing to do, my foster mom doesn’t think I’ll be too big but I should grow another 10 pounds. I’m so sweet and I love cuddling but I can’t stay for long because I have very important puppy business to attend to so I’m usually always on the go! I’m incredibly smart, I’ve learned to open doors by jumping up on them so I may surprise you with more things I learn in the future! I know that’s a little naughty and I’m still learning some manners, I love playing with my toys except I don’t always like to share them so I’ll growl at other dogs but I’m learning I can’t resource guard so you’ll have to keep teaching me, like I said I’m incredibly smart so I’ve already started learning! I also have an amazing rock collection I can’t wait to show you! I’m crate trained so I can’t eat anything I’m not supposed to while I’m unsupervised, I like picking up rocks! I may not be the best fit for a family with young children since I jump a lot and I’m learning to kiss instead of giving love bites when I get excited! I love playing with all my dog friends and like our cats. I will need to learn basic training but I’m so excited to learn and start connecting together, I’m ready to become your perfect dog!
