Brewski’s previous owner was hospitalized and could no longer care for this sweet guy so AALOC took him in. This young Border Collie mix is very playful and loving and gets along great with other dogs. Brewski is a medium-size dog, weighing in at about 45 pounds. According to the American Kennel Club the Border Collie are amazing dogs. They are particularly energetic, athletic, and playful and are known for being workaholics. Although a Border Collie will enjoy cuddle time, it is only after they have spent their energy with walks, play and training. In the canine world, Border Collies are among the most agile, balanced, and durable breeds. They are usually very good at agility training and giving a Border Collie a job is important to their happiness. Border Collies are also known for their intense ‘herding eye’ gaze and their almond-shaped eyes. Please apply to adopt Brewski at www.AALOC.org. Once your application is reviewed and approved we will contact you to make an appointment to visit us at AALOC to meet Brewski and get to know him a bit. Adoption donation includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, and a microchip. Applications require a veterinary reference and home visit. We adopt to residents of Orange County, CA and surrounding areas. Please note: For families with children, we require children to be 10 years of age or older, although exceptions are made depending on the circumstances. Meet Sonny 🐶 – Loving Pup Looking for the Right HomeIt truly breaks my heart, but I’m looking to rehome my dog Sonny and find him a loving, patient home. Sonny is 4 years old, very sweet, and loves to play. He enjoys being around people he trusts and gets along great with other dogs.We adopted him from a rescue that found him living in a restroom with his siblings for months, so he can be shy and a bit fearful with strangers at first. With time, patience, and training, he really opens up and shows his loving personality.I recently became a new mom, and with an infant, I’m not able to give him the time and attention he deserves. Sonny would do best with someone who can work with him and preferably has a backyard since he loves to play.He has so much potential and will be an amazing companion in the right home. Story
Bug is a 3 year old Border Collie that suffers from urinary incontinence that the vet believes is hereditary. At this time we are unable to afford diagnosis for her and due to her circumstances know she would be happier in a home that could better accommodate her needs. She wears diapers indoors but d/t needing them on constantly she sometimes gets a diaper rash or UTI. The vet says it’s best for her to stay outdoors and not in a diaper and unfortunately we live in an apartment with very limited patio space. Bug would thrive in a home with a backyard and we wish we could give that to her. Bug has gone through training at sit means sit and will be able to go back for training for life with no cost. She has a harder time with young children as a herding dog and often times will jump or nip at our 6 year old as an effort to herd him. She is a bit anxious around others but warms up fast.
