Randomly goes for a swim in the pond. Affectionate but also independent. Currently about 30 lbs. Someone will be very lucky to bring her into their family. She is currently still in Oklahoma where she was rescued but she can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well. She has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport at one of our transport drop off locations below. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, we will either find a local foster to take her in or she will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. Meet Ogallala, but everyone calls her Olga! This sweet, beautiful girl is a Border Collie Australian Shepherd mix with a gentle and silly heart that will make you smile. When she came to Soul Dog in 2021, she was shy and fearful, but thanks to her long term foster family, she has made amazing progress.Olga has gone from hiding in her favorite corner to relaxing on the sofa with her foster pack, greeting her family at the door, and even asking for affection. One of her favorite pastimes now is shouting out the window at people and dogs passing by. She really loves letting her voice be heard!While she has gained confidence, Olga still has a few fears. Loud noises, sudden banging, or busy sounds like kids playing basketball can startle her. When she is unsure, she may bolt and then settle in a safe spot. With gentle guidance and patience, she is learning that the world can be safe and fun.Olga is looking for a kind, understanding person who can give her love, calm guidance, and the time she needs to feel confident in a new home. Alder is an extremely sweet, quiet, shy boy. He is the dog version of an introvert. He is gentle and sticks to himself and is great with other dogs of all sizes and with cats. He doesn't engage much with them thought as he prefers to do his own thing. He has to be the most low maintenance and chill dog I've ever had in the rescue out of hundreds of dogs. He is hesitant with people he doesn't know but never aggressive. Not an ounce of aggression. He was listed as a pit bull mix at the shelter when he was smaller and still a younger puppy but now that he is an older puppy (about a year) it's obvious that he is not a pittie but looks more like a border collie. He is currently still in Oklahoma where he was rescued but he can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well. He has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport at one of our transport drop off locations below. Our little beautiful Roxy is something else! She is so intelligent and happy, and wants to be with a family. She adores children, and the seven year old in the house has taught her to fetch and lots of other things. She is gentle and precious, only about 30 pounds at a year, so is smaller, and loves getting attention. She is crate trained and house trained, enjoys other dogs, loves being outside, and walks well on a leash. She is ready for her forever best friend. She enjoys water, tummy rubs, and showing off how smart she can be. She is a bit frightened of cars rushing by and can be a little shy when she first meets you, but when she comes in for scratches, it is such an amazing feeling. Roxy enjoys everything about having a family, and cannot wait to find her forever!

Remi is a bright, beautiful 4-year-old Border Collie with a fun, loving, and wonderfully quirky personality. She is incredibly smart, has done agility training, knows many tricks, and truly enjoys learning. She also enjoys hikes. Her favorite thing in the world is being outside, especially when shes chasing a ball. A home with a fenced backyard where she can play and explore would be ideal. Remi is good with kids and forms strong bonds with her people. She does have some anxiety and thrives best in a calm, structured environment where she can feel safe and settled. She does best as the only dog or with male dogs, as she does not get along with female dogs. This difficult rehoming decision comes from love. Remi does not get along with the other female Border Collie in the home, and she deserves a peaceful environment where she can thrive. She is spayed and has received regular vet care, though she is currently behind on two vaccinations, which her new family will need to update.

Rozata came to Soul Dog in October 2025 nursing four small puppies. She was extremely skinny, covered in scabs from sarcoptic mange, and very timid. She immediately went to a quiet foster home to raise her babies and get healthy. She has started to come out of her shell, turned into a beauty and is sure to become someone's beloved friend. She is completely housetrained, quiet, and loving. She has learned how to walk on a leash, and loves to just stand close to her humans and be fed treats. She has been around other dogs and kids and done well. Her temperament is quiet and gentle, and she may do best in a calm and adult household. She likely has not lived in a house as a pet before coming to Soul Dog, and will need a family committed to showing her all the ways of the world and helping her sweet nature continue to blossom with confidence.
