To learn more about Dumplin, please get in touch with dogs@lostdogrescue.org Dumplin will be attending one of our adoption events coming up this weekend! To learn more about our upcoming events and to see which event she will be attending, please visit our event page at https://www.lostdogrescue.org/events/ (*please note that the specific event pages are typically updated on Fridays with information on which dogs will be attending which events*) Dumplin needs one more vaccination before she is adoption-ready. We expect that to happen 5/17 so she will be ready to meet you at one of our adoption events over the weekend. Meet Dumplin, a beautiful 10-week-old border collie mix with the fluffiest coat and the sweetest eyes. She came to LDCRF after being surrendered and needing a little extra TLC—luckily, her foster home gave her just that, and she quickly bloomed into a confident, playful, and affectionate little pup. Dumplin is currently in foster care with her sister, Honey, but she’s a bit more independent and happy to play on her own or with her favorite mini tennis ball. She’s curious about the world, loves to sniff and explore, and can often be found watching birds or perfecting her tiny (but brave!) bark. She’s a big fan of the rain and doesn’t mind getting her paws wet in the sprinkler, making her a perfect match for anyone who enjoys a pup that’s not afraid of a little splash. While still new to meeting people, she’s already shown a gentle affection for calm, older dogs and lights up when she sees the neighbor’s daughter. She’s doing great with potty training and is learning to feel comfortable in her crate. If you’re looking for a gorgeous, playful pup who’s equal parts clever and cuddly, Dumplin may just be your perfect match.

We expect that to happen 5/17 so she will be ready to meet you at one of our adoption events over the weekend. Introducing Honey, a stunning 10-week-old border collie mix with a soft, velvety coat and soulful eyes that will melt your heart. She arrived at LDCRF after being surrendered and needing some TLC—thankfully, she landed in a loving foster home where she quickly blossomed into a confident, affectionate little shadow. Honey is currently being fostered with her sister, Dumplin, and while she enjoys playtime outdoors and chasing her sibling around, she’s a true cuddlebug at heart. She loves being near her foster mom, following her from room to room and happily snoozing in her arms while she gardens or does chores. Honey thrives on connection and is happiest when she has someone to snuggle or a soft spot to curl up with her sister. She’s doing well with potty training, and crate training is still a work in progress—but she’s smart, eager to please, and responds well to gentle guidance. She’s also shown an interest in water, happily joining in when the sprinklers are on or the rain is falling. Though she’s just starting to meet new people, Honey has already made friends with calm dogs in the neighborhood and greets the neighbor’s daughter with gentle curiosity. With her stunning good looks and loving personality, Honey is ready to bring warmth, loyalty, and plenty of tail wags to her forever home.

Story
This handsome blue eyed Border Collie is called Hitch.  A devoted dog that loves to go for runs with his human (trained to run in front and answer to voice commands) and can run long distances too.  He is 6 years old but you would never know it.  He is the best dog ever.  Crate trained and housebroken and neutered with all updated shots and HW negative.  He is great with other dogs and most every cat he meets.  He is a dog that really doesn’t enjoy the company and activity of really young children.  They make him nervous. He loves to go for rides in the car with his person.  He is seeking a quiet home away from the busy road and all of the cars, buses, motorcycles, etc. that make him anxious. None of these vehicles bother him when he runs since he is “working.”  The best home for him would be an active family who lives out on land and he can run and play.  Please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com if you are interested. PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comApril 15, 2025, 9:23 pm
