Roxie is a sweet girl whose favorite place in the world is wherever her people are. She hops right into the car, settles in beautifully at home, ignores barking dogs like it's no big deal, and politely asks for more pets by gently placing her paw on you — trust us, you won't be able to say no! The outside world is still a little overwhelming for Roxie, especially loud traffic and busy streets, so she's looking for someone who will help her build confidence at her own pace and gain positive experiences. In return, you'll get one of the sweetest, most loving companions around. She already knows "sit" and "down," takes treats like a lady, and was perfectly behaved during her stay in a volunteer's home. She has also done well both in playgroups at our Rescue Care Center and in the home with other dogs! Professional cuddle enthusiast? Check. Gentle soul? Check. Future best friend? Absolutely! All Roxie needs is a little patience, a lot of love, and someone to show her that life is pretty great. We have a feeling she'll return the favor tenfold. 🐾
