Story
Friendly Finn is a lucky dog.  You know one of those who was in a really bad shelter that was run by lazy people who didn’t care if any of the dogs got out alive.  He is a handsome and very friendly Border Collie/Pointer mix that is truly a good looking dog who is about 3 years old, fully vetted, 35 pounds and was at the shelter for 2 years.  TRUTH!   How awful that this beautiful soul was there in that dirty place and in the tiny kennel run with another dog. He wasn’t fed much and he is lucky to have survived the torture of that specific shelter.   Friendly is a good word for Finn since he is good with other dogs and kids unknown.  He is surprisingly very good on a leash, but his nerves can get the best of him when riding in a car.  He might need a little medication till he gets used to riding.  Finn needs a big yard or maybe daily trips to a dog park.  We want him to live a life that is not limited as he has experienced these past 2+ years in the shelter.  If you are interested in Fostering or Adopting Finn please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.May 5, 2024, 3:15 pm

Story
Hello. I’m sad to say that my baby boy needs a new home with a loving family or couple. I received him from a friend at church and we’ve grown to love each other over a years time. But after his birthday in March 23rd, ALOT has changed in my family and personally. I’ve tried Facebook group but it’s filled with a bunch of trolls & ive tried shelters but they are all full 😔 Please help, I don’t want to just give him up to a shelter and I just wish the best for him.

Story
Allow me to introduce you to Rondo, the delightful young border collie mix who is eagerly awaiting his forever home! Rondo’s energy is contagious and you can’t help but laugh at this sweet boy who has a lot of personality! He’s always ready for an adventure, whether running after the ball in a game of fetch (still learning to bring the ball back but will still run back to you in excitement), or exploring the great outdoors! He loves to run and play and would do well with someone that can provide plenty of adventures, walks and runs in the park. Rondo’s soft spot? Stuffed toys! He absolutely loves playing with anything stuffed!Rondo is motivated by treats and already has learned the “sit” command! With additional treat training, Rondo will excel at learning other basic commands such as stay, lay down and shake. Rondo’s new family will also want to spend time teaching him some leash manners as he is a medium-puller but with how smart he is and that he is still young, he will definitely learn how to to display perfect leash manners in the future! His eagerness to learn is heartwarming. If you look closely, you’ll notice a tiny bit of white at the tip of his tail and paws are adorned with speckles which really sets him apart. When Rondo spots geese, his curiosity piques. He tilts his head back and watches them fly by in fascination. If you are seeking a loyal companion who embodies curiosity, playfulness, and a touch of elegance (thanks to that white-tipped tail and speckled paws), consider adopting Rondo as a new member of your family!

We do not provide a comprehensive medical exam before adoption. As a result, sickness, injury, and disability may exist unbeknownst to CDCK. Dog specific: Rabies, DHPP,Lepto and Bordetella vaccines. They are tested for HW, Lyme, Ehrlichia, Anaplasmosis.
