Story
This precious girl came from one of the worst hoarding situations that we have ever dealt with. there were over 100 dogs on the property, none of them spayed or neutered. Finally, the authorities went in and they managed to get ALL of the dogs out of there. Filthy dirty situation, sick puppies, you name it. We choose to take Blossom home to our rescue because her eyes were begging us for love and attention. She was very pregnant and two weeks after arriving, she gave birth to 7 heathy puppies! Every single puppy was different, every singe puppy had a different daddy! We think that Blossom had never been paid any attention to because she was so shy. Once we weaned her babies we took her out of the nursery and into the house where she just blossomed! That's how she got her name! Her puppies have long since been adopted and now it's her turn. We actually did a DNA on her and it came back with 4 different breeds, which we kind of figured from the beginning. Australian Cattle Dog, Labrador Retriever, Pit Bull, Boxer. Yes, she is truly a "Mutt!: She is extremely smart and will do anything for a treat. I want her to have a nice fenced yard with lots of room to run. Cattle dogs are working dogs and they need lots of exercise! She is spayed, crate trained, fully vaccinated, microchipped and house broken, truly a gem! Ready for immediate transport. ADOPTION FEE $400 PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE LOCATED IN TENNESSEE AND YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MEET OUR PETS PRIOR TO ADOPTION!

Story
This handsome red heeler mix puppy is called Ernie and he and his brother Bert and their mom were found in a barn where they had been raised by their stray mother. Their mother was barely hanging on to life. The happy ending to her story is she is living with a wonderful family now and is loved and Ernie is looking for a wonderful family too raise him, love him, and bring his own special joy to. Ernie is a really delightful and well adjusted 6-month-old puppy that weighs 26 lb. He is a friendly little guy that enjoys meeting people and loves to chase a ball and bring it back to you. His innocence and love for life is contagious. He craves being with people that like him and speak kind words to him. He will crawl in your lap and be your best little buddy. His foster mom who raised he and his brother Bert says that he has the best temperament and personality. Recently this little guy went to a yoga class at the YMCA and had so much fun. It was a totally new and unique environment and he handled it with great poise and embraced all of the Zen vibes going on. Ernie is housebroken, crate trained, loves being around other cats and dogs alike and adores children. There isn't a living creature on this earth that he doesn't like. He is learning quite well,  how to walk on a leash and he rides in a car like a pro. He would be a great dog to take for hikes, long walks, outdoor events and adventures, and of course he would be a hit at any family reunions. Ernie is ready to call a family and their home his very own. If you are interested in making Ernie your perfect little sidekick in life, Please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJanuary 12, 2025, 10:42 am

Story
Blue Moses is needing rescue again for the second time in his lifetime.  This senior boy is around 10 years old and weighs 30 pounds and was adopted from Critter Cavalry Rescue by a caring woman back in 2019 and she is now in critical care and unable to keep this boy and her family has asked Critter Cavalry to please once again find a home for Blue Moses.  He misses his momma so much and right now he is in the home alone with a neighbor coming to feed and take him out.  He is in PA. and we at Critter Cavalry Rescue are in Tennessee and trying to find a foster or a forever new home for Moses right now.  He is a sweet boy that  has adored his mom and is good with other dogs.  He originally was found as a stray in Tennessee and wondering in the countryside.  He is a Blue Heeler boy that is smart and loving with his people.  Can someone give Moses a wonderful place to stay NOW?   A forever home or a foster?  We will pick him up from PA and bring him close to one of our transport drops.  Please email us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com  January 20, 2025, 11:47 pm

Story
Please contact Paul Slebzak (pauls@luckydoganimalrescue.org) for more information about this pet.young girl looking for her forever family! TRINITY NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!!   Come meet Trinity and other great adoptable dogs this Saturday (1/11) from 12-2 pm at the Petco in Annandale, VA (7434 Little River Turnpike, Annandale, VA 22003)!     Name: Trinity       Best Guess for Breed: Australian cattle dog and blue heeler mix     Best Guess for Age:   2 years        SEX:    Female   Approximate Weight:   50 lbs   Gets Along With:    Trinity has lived with other dogs and kids before. We haven’t seen Trinity with cats, but she can be tested! Special Adoption Considerations: Because Trinity is shy, she needs to go to a home with a confident, welcoming resident dog. We would be cautious placing Trinity in a home with children under 12 years old because young kids can often scare shy dogs with their level of energy or noise.  Children would need to be supervised closely to not leave doors open and should never walk the dog without an adult holding the leash.  We would be happy to discuss this more in depth with any applicant.   Check out videos of Trinity here: https://youtu.be/Fy-mDvW6ZKo, https://youtu.be/4f65xnUJE2s and https://youtu.be/0CD-rPXoo6U.   Currently Living at:   DC area foster home   All About Trinity:     Trinity is a very joyful and fun-loving dog. She is very shy when initially meeting new people and dogs, but warms up after getting to know everyone, especially if the other resident dogs are confident around new people. She obeys the lay down and sit command for treats.  She is a proud graduate of Wholistic Dogs Good Dog 101 training!  Trinity is very loving and affectionate and has been amazing with my elderly mother. She loves to cuddle up with her and get lots of love. She loves to be right with her people and will stick by your side. She enjoys playing with her toys in the house, prancing and tossing them in the air, jumping up, and pouncing on them. Outside, Trinity is always up for walks in the neighborhood, but can easily be spooked by unfamiliar noises.  She goes 'potty' best when out on a walk on a leash. She isn't fond of our townhome's small backyard, but if you have a fenced in yard, she would love it!   Trinity is very social and loves playing with other dogs, she does need a slow intro to other pups as she is shy initially.  She loves doggie day care too. Trinity is cautious around new people when out on walks, as well as with lots of street traffic and loud and sudden noises. While these can startle Trinity she settles fairly easily with some reassurance and would do well with continued exposure to new experiences. Trinity is comfortable with her crate and can sleep through the night in it, but much prefers the comfort of your bed!  We rarely have to crate her when we are away from home.     Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT:      The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter. If you are interested in adopting, please complete the Adoption Questionnaire online   at   bit.ly/adoptaluckydog  .   Lucky Dog Animal Rescue does our best to provide accurate information about the dogs we have for adoption.
