He loves being around his people and the resident dog, and he’ll quietly follow you from room to room just to be part of the moment. Snuggles are his love language, and he’ll melt right into you for as long as you’ll let him. He enjoys short walks, a little playtime outside, and absolutely lives for car rides — especially when they end with a Caribou pup cup. He smiles the whole way home like he knows he just had the best treat in the world. At home, Roscoe sleeps peacefully on a dog bed in his foster mom’s room. He rarely barks (only if the resident dog starts the conversation), but he loves to “talk” to you when you come home — a happy, wiggly welcome committee who’s been watching out the window waiting for you. He’s easygoing, gentle, and wonderful with people of all ages. He doesn’t mind cats, loves other dogs, and has a calm, steady presence that makes him feel like an old friend from the moment you meet him. Roscoe’s back legs are a bit weaker these days, so he sometimes needs help with stairs and getting into or out of the car. He takes it all in stride with that same sweet, grateful energy he brings to everything. I'm very friendly and love greeting my humans when they get home and love meeting new people. My sworn enemy is hardwood floors because I'm afraid I'll slip on them. I love learning and will work hard on getting a treat as long as the treat is something I'm into, because I reserve the right to be picky. I'm very well potty trained and I will ask to be let out if I need to go. I need lots of activity. If I don't get enough during the day, I'll ask you to play with me. I know sit, lay down, and shake, but I'm still working on getting these every time I'm prompted. I prefer to not be in a crate because it makes me nervous. I am able to free roam at night and when my humans are away without issues. The best kind of home for me is a home that can give me the active days I need, either through lots of outside time or through lots of challenging learning. I love being with other dogs and meeting new people and a home that can give me both would be ideal. Marvey is fixed, microchipped, and current on vaccinations appropriate for his age. Marvey was treated for Heartworm before coming into rescue and will need to be retested at 6 months and 1 year from treatment to make sure the treatment was effective. He will need year-round heart-worm preventatives for his lifetime. I am an adorable border collie/lab mix who wants nothing more than a home to call my own--and, preferably, a ball to call my own as well. I LOVE to chase balls, and if no balls are around, I'll make do with chasing anything you throw for me--stuffies, sticks, ropes... the options are endless. I also love going on car rides, sit politely in the back seat, and walk well on a leash. My foster mom says that I'm amazingly well adjusted given my rough history. I was 1 of 16 (!!) dogs rescued from a local home, and I haven't had the best care before now. For example, you might notice that I have a bit of a limp due to a wonky front foot. The vet says that this is likely caused by a ruptured tendon that didn't heal right. Fortunately, it doesn't slow me down at all! I also recently had 8 front teeth removed. Still, nothing can bring down my happy-go-lucky personality (except, of course, when my foster mom puts away my ball for the night). Here's a bit more from my foster mom: An ideal home for Gordy would be one that can give him lots of mental and physical stimulation. He really enjoys chewing on bones and bully sticks, playing tug with toys, and playing fetch. He's also a smart boy and has picked up on sit, lay down, and crate up very quickly. We're working on some new commands for him to show off! I think he'd do great with someone who enjoys having a dog that can be a companion to them on a variety of adventures! Daddy was probably the local Casanova, maybe a Border Collie mix. These pups were born on the first night we had freezing weather and 2 courageous ladies went out in the cold and caught the stray mama and her 7 puppies and brought them to our rescue. DOB 1/17/26. JASMINE is playful and very happy. She has a beautiful golden color with some white and a tail that curls over her back. She currently is 25# and will probably be about 40-45# when grown. She is spayed, all 4 DAPP vaccinations including Leptospirosis, Rabies, and Bordetella. She will be a great family dog. She loves other dogs of all ages and size. She also leaves my cats alone. Like most puppies, she does bark … not the best for an apartment. She is used to be in a kennel as well as being in the puppy pen outside. This is a great deal!!!
