You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Cherry Pepper is from Texas. She was born on the streets to a mom that was a stray. A kind woman rescued mom and all the pups, when she found them wandering in her neighborhood. Poor little Cherry was malnourished, covered in fleas, and the vet was sure she wouldn't have lived much more than a few days without the care of the woman who rescued them! Well, after being brought into rescue & given proper veterinary care and nutrition, Cherry and her siblings are positively thriving, and now it's time to find them all homes of their own here in Minnesota! Cherry is a sweet girl that is friendly with everyone she meets! She absolutely loves to play with her siblings and people alike. Cherry is an adorably inquisitive pup who loves people almost as much as she loves to eat. She will be a little shadow following you wherever you go! Cherry is not potty trained yet, but no young puppy ever is. Puppies operate on a sleep, eat, play, poop & repeat schedule. Potty training is very dependent on staying on a strict feeding schedule, and getting them outside roughly 20-30 minutes afterwards. If you can maintain a consistent feeding/outside schedule, you'll have a potty trained pup in no time at all. Just remember to be patient, because they're doing their best! Cherry is also not kennel trained, as she is kept in an outside run along with her siblings & mom in Texas. Kennel training is really not that hard at all. It's as easy as getting a kennel, putting it where you spend most of your time, and just leaving the door open for her to go in and out as she pleases. Feed all meals there, as well as any high value treats, and as soon as you know it, she'll be in there relaxing on and off through out the day. Never use the kennel as a punishment.
