Apani is a sweet 6–8 month-old puppy whose name means “butterfly” in Lakota—an especially fitting name for a young dog who is learning to spread her wings and discover the world around her. When she arrived in rescue, she was covered from head to tail in ticks and had clearly endured a rough start. Despite that, Apani has a gentle spirit and is blossoming more each day as she learns that people can be safe and life in a home can feel good. She loves her cozy kennel and settles in happily when it’s time to rest. Apani also enjoys playing with her 4-month-old foster sibling, and her playful puppy side shines when she has another dog to romp with. Apani is looking for a patient, loving family who will continue helping her build confidence and experience all the good things life has to offer. If there are problems with the website, please email me for help. JASMINE (female) came from a litter of 7 -- 5 girls; 2 boys. Mama is a white shepherd-type dog about 40#. Daddy was probably the local Casanova, maybe a Border Collie mix. These pups were born on the first night we had freezing weather and 2 courageous ladies went out in the cold and caught the stray mama and her 7 puppies and brought them to our rescue. DOB 1/17/26. JASMINE is playful and very happy. She has a beautiful golden color with some white and a tail that curls over her back. She currently is 25# and will probably be about 40-45# when grown. She is spayed, all 4 DAPP vaccinations including Leptospirosis, Rabies, and Bordetella. She will be a great family dog. She loves other dogs of all ages and size. She also leaves my cats alone. Like most puppies, she does bark … not the best for an apartment. She is used to be in a kennel as well as being in the puppy pen outside. This is a great deal!!! Get in on the ground floor and adopt now so that the family can bond and have fun for the summer! This dog is CURRENTLY IN TEXAS and available for pre-adoption. Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention. "She ran calling "WILD.....FIRE"!! That is a haunting song.... I promise, though..I am not a HAUNTER!! But I may love to run around and around and AROUND :) I am a puppy! I am so sweet and cuddly, when i finish running around ;) I have plenty of energy so you HAVE to be ready to burn it off with mental and physical exercise. I am SMART too! Teach me who you want me to be and I will learn! I was found with 4 siblings living (dumped) at the Home Depot...but it was a LUCKY BREAK, cause we were seen by the husband of a rescuer and we got SAVED! Now I am in my foster home and learning the "ropes" ;) Potty training is getting better every day, I mean our foster mom takes us out often for potty control and I am really working hard to wait for the next jaunt outside! I also am crate training too! I don't like to pee or poop where I sleep- as long as I don't eat right before bed and go outside as soon as I wake up I am doing great!! I seriously am ready for my family, I LOVE to play and am great with all dogs big, small, old or babies. AND i have one half BLUE EYE!! The better to see you with, my new family! :) ADOPT ME SOON!!
