She tolerates other dogs and does well with children, but her happiest life will be with a calm fur sibling in a quiet adult home. Age: Estimated DOB 6/29/25 Weight: 57 lbs Dog friendly: Yes, but prefers to live as an only dog Cat friendly: Unknown/not tested Kid friendly: Yes Potty trained: Yes Crate trained: Yes **FENCED YARD REQUIRED** Hi there, I'm Gwynn – Your Future Best Friend! 🐾 I’m a 9-month-old pup with a heart full of love and a whole lot of happy energy. I’m ready to find my forever home—whether that’s with a person or a family—where I can share all my positive vibes and become your loyal companion. I’m a smart girl who already knows sit and down, and I’m working hard on stay. Like most young pups, I’ve got some playful energy, and when I meet new people I get excited and might bounce a little—but I’m polite and don’t jump on my new friends. One of my favorite people in the world is a 7-year-old neighbor who comes to play with me every day. I love to play with doggie friends. I live with three German Shepherds right now and at times have been reactive with them sharing our indoor space. As I have gotten more comfortable with the resident dogs, the reactivity has lessened. I’m still figuring out the world and what it means to feel completely safe, so sometimes I can get a little protective of my people. When that happens, I just need a moment to reset—and I’m already learning how to handle those feelings better every day. I would do best as the only dog in the household or with an experienced adopter that will be patient working with me. I’ve even had a fun adventure at a farm! I learned that horses are just really big dogs (once I got used to them), cows are kind of boring, and…well…chickens are still a little scary! But I’m curious and learning new things all the time. I’m not much of a barker—I prefer to show my love through actions, not noise. When it comes to food, I’m a slow eater. I’m making great progress with sharing and trust—I’m comfortable with people around my food—but I’d do best eating in my own space for now while I continue building confidence. I’m otherwise very easygoing, even sharing water bowls with other pups. At night, I’m super flexible—I’m happy to snuggle up in bed with you or sleep peacefully on a dog bed or in my crate (open or closed). My crate is my safe, cozy space. If you’re looking for a loving, playful, and loyal companion who’s still growing and learning, I could be the perfect match for you. I promise to bring joy, laughter, and lots of tail wags into your life. Could you be my forever home? 💛 Adoption Fee: $395

Hi, my name is Harlan and I am from Arkansas! This is Harlan, the sweetest and most gentle dog. He’s extremely well-behaved, easygoing, and incredibly lovable. Harlan has a mellow personality and enjoys lounging outside and relaxing by your side. While he’s mostly calm and sleepy, he’ll occasionally spring into action with playful bursts of energy, especially if he spots a squirrel. He can be a bit shy, but with a little patience and time, his affectionate, playful, and loyal personality will shine through. He loves being around his people and will quickly become a devoted companion. Harlan isn’t the biggest fan of being left home alone or going on car rides, but with patience, time, and some training, these behaviors can likely improve.

Story
Meet Spark, a mid‑December 2025 baby with long legs, a soft heart, and a whole lot of devotion packed into his 16 pounds. This Border Collie mix is the perfect blend of silly and snuggly. He trots around with puppy confidence, playing with toys and enjoying life. When it’s time for a break, he wants to be near his people, chilling out together. Spark’s favorite thing in life is people. Dogs are fun, toys are good, but his person is everything. He plays well with the other dogs in his foster home, but he consistently chooses human companionship over canine company. He’ll be happiest with a family that enjoys a dog-friendly active lifestyle and carries a calm, easygoing energy. Think walks, exploring new places, and then relaxing together afterward. Daily exercise will keep him happy. He’s curious about the world and has already experienced car rides, new environments, suburban sights and sounds, and meeting new dogs. He’s comfortable around cats, giving them a polite sniff before moving on. Best in a home with kids roughly 10 and over. Spark is working hard on house training and does best with a predictable schedule. He needs frequent breaks at this age. Crating isn’t his favorite, but he settles best when he can see or hear his person nearby. On leash, he’s still figuring things out, primarily by following the lead of older, more experienced dogs. Spark will do well with a canine sibling and can be an only dog. Families with herding‑breed experience is preferred to help guide his bright, sensitive mind. He’ll also need support learning to be comfortable on his own, because his instinct is to stay close and be with his people. Obedience classes are required to ensure he has a solid start to a long life of going with you everywhere: he will no doubt be your best friend. If you’re looking for a devoted, leggy little shadow who will adore you endlessly, Spark is ready to light up your life. See more videos of Spark at https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL5ZDuP3CNniSx5VVqPczSHFQSSxH59T8I Spark is being fostered in Brooklyn Park, MN. Spark's adoption fee is $550 + MN sales tax. He is up to date on age-appropriate vaccines. He will be neutered and microchipped at the age of roughly 6 months. The cost of this procedure is included in his adoption fee. Upon adoption, all of our dogs go to their new homes with a collar and harness, leash, starter food, blanket, favorite toys & treats. They are current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. As a foster-based rescue, we do not have a central facility to visit. Meet and greets with specific dogs are arranged once your adoption application (not an inquiry through Petfinder) has been received, processed, and approved. We are located in Minnesota and adopt to an area 400 miles from Minneapolis/St. Paul.

Story
Hi there! My name is Roxie, and I’m a one‑year‑old Border Collie mix with a big smile, a bigger heart, and 30 pounds of enthusiasm. People describe me as friendly, happy, curious, playful, energetic, and athletic. I love life, and I love sharing it with the people and dogs around me. I'm a sweetheart ready to give kisses anytime! My favorite things in the whole world are playing with my foster dog siblings, attention from humans, and, of course, food. Once I’ve had a chance to stretch my legs, I’m learning how to settle nicely in the house. I’m an active girl, so I’d be happiest with a family that enjoys getting outside and exploring. Before this thing called rescue, my life was pretty quiet and I didn’t get out a lot. My heart lies in peaceful places like parks or wooded trails. My foster family wants me to have a fabulous life, so they take me on a fun adventure every day. I’m getting braver all the time: we go to town and walk where there’s traffic and new noises, and we meet new people. It’s pretty cool. A fenced yard would be great for me, but it’s not required if my family can keep me safe on leash and let me run in a safe space. I am gentle with children who have dog experience – especially if they will rub my belly. Another friendly, playful dog in my new home is my biggest wish! Having a canine buddy gives me confidence and makes everything more fun. It’s probably best if I live in a cat-free home because I like chasing them. I’ve heard of this thing called obedience classes and can’t wait to sign up! My foster family is teaching me a lot: keeping four paws on the floor, what to chew on and they keep me on a potty training schedule that works perfectly! I’m smart and learn quickly. I’m very good in my crate, and I’m learning how to walk on a leash nicely. Car rides aren’t my favorite yet, but my foster family is helping me learn that they lead to fun adventures. One more thing: I love the water. Swimming days are the best days. If you’re looking for a joyful, affectionate, athletic young dog who’s eager to learn and excited for adventure, I think we could be a perfect match. Roxie is being fostered in Minneapolis, MN. Roxie's adoption fee is $450 + MN sales tax. She is spayed, microchipped and up to date on age-appropriate vaccines. Story
Hi there, I’m Flash! I’m a happy, cuddly, sweet, roughly 18# Border Collie mix puppy born in mid-December 2025. I'm READY to find my forever family. My foster family says I’m a really good boy who just wants to be someone’s best pal, and they sure got that right! My favorite things are simple: I love following my human around to see what they’re doing and playing fetch. If you toss a toy for me, I will happily bring it back and do it all over again. I like being part of whatever my people are doing, whether that’s going for a walk, hanging out in the yard, or just moving from room to room together. I have medium energy, which means I’m not a couch potato, but I’m not wild and crazy either. I would be happiest with an adventurous, active family that wants a buddy for walks, outings, and playtime. I stick close to my people and would be ok in a home without a fence, maybe working my way up to offleash privileges with solid recall training. I get along great with other dogs, even small ones, and I would really enjoy having a canine sibling to play with. That said, I could also be happy as an only dog if my family is committed to training and socializing me. I currently live with a four-year-old child, and I’m very good with her – but of course we need to be closely supervised when we’re together. I’ve also been around cats and am doing well. Continued guidance will help me happily coexist with kitties in my new home. I’m working on house training and need frequent breaks right now. I'm doing well in my crate and learning leash skills too. I’ve been to lots of different places and I take new things in stride. Obedience classes are a must – I’ve heard there are lots of treats there, and I’m anxious to show off how smart I am! I’m an amazing puppy who wants a family to love, adventures to go on, and someone to call my very own. Is that you? Flash is being fostered in Cambridge, MN.
