I love running, playing, and exploring, but Im just as happy curling up for cozy naps and spending time with my people. <br/><br/>I am a high energy fella looking for some friends who would like to take me on long walks/hikes, play fetch and tug! My dream home would be with an active family who are ready to play, explore, and give me lots of attention. A big, fenced yard would be amazing! I could use a a safe space where I can stretch my legs, chase toys, and just have fun. When the fun time is over, I am great at settling down with a nice Kong treat and an afternoon nap. <br/><br/>I would love for you to come to AHS and meet me! <br/><br/>Love, <br/><br/>George <br/><br/>P.S. Story
We rescued Fitz when he was only a few days old. His pregnant mom was rescued by a friend of ours, and she gave birth to her puppies while in foster care. Fitz has been part of our family for the past five and a half years and moved with us into our first home. Since then, our family has grown, and we now have two young daughters. While Fitz has never shown aggression and nothing has ever happened, we no longer feel fully comfortable having him around a toddler and an infant without constant supervision. This has been an incredibly difficult decision because we truly love him and want what is best for both him and our children. Fitz is a loving dog who would thrive in a home where he can get plenty of attention, affection, and outdoor time. He loves being outside, running around, and has a lot of energy, he is incredibly fast and happiest when he has space to play and explore. We hope to find him a caring family who can give him the time, love, and active environment he deserves.
