Story
Billy is still looking for a family to call his own, and we know the right people are out there for him. Yes, he has a few special needs — but don’t let that scare you away. Billy is a wonderful dog who deserves the same love, comfort, and family as any other pup. To help him find his perfect match, we are waiving his adoption fee for an approved adopter! Billy is an approximately 2&#226&#128&#145year&#226&#128&#145old, 35&#226&#128&#145pound Boxer mix with a giant heart and an even bigger goofy grin. Though he’s mostly blind and partially deaf, he approaches life with curiosity, bravery, and a cheerful spirit. He’s learning his way around his foster home, working on potty training, and making progress every single day. His determination is incredible. He enjoys the company of other dogs, though he prefers to keep his food and toys to himself — understandable given his past as a dog that was starved, but this is easily managed by feeding him in his crate. He also has a wonderful trainer helping him build confidence, learn new skills, and continue blossoming into the amazing dog he’s meant to be. Billy was also diagnosed with hypoparathyroidism, a condition that affects calcium levels, but the great news is that it’s very manageable. He simply takes one inexpensive pill each day (about $14 a month!), and we’re even covering his first year of medication for his adopter. Billy would thrive in a patient, loving home that will support him as he settles in and continues learning. He has so much love to give — he just needs someone willing to see how special he truly is. If you think Billy might be your guy, please apply to meet him. He’s ready to give his whole heart to his forever family. WWW.4PAWS4RESCUE.COMMarch 7, 2026, 5:34 pm

Story
Willow   Willow is a confident and sometimes bossy little girl looking for her forever home. She is a 10wk old around 8-10lbs boxer and unknown mix puppy. Most her features look mostly boxer and she is definitely boxer smart. She can figure out a way to get to whatever she wants. She is working on potty and crate training and making great progress.   She is at home in the back yard and will sunbath for hours if you let her. Willow is ready for adoption and would love to be the large and in charge little sister in your family.  Willow and her sibling (Spruce) came from the Southeast, MO from the bootheel area.   If interested, please  complete the  Adoption Application  on our website at  www.NeedyPaws.org  and we will contact you.  Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO. Story
Meet Weston    Looking for a loyal shadow who will love you with his whole heart? Weston is your guy.   This sweet, affectionate boy loves being close to his people. He'll happily lean in for hugs, rest his head in your lap, and follow you from room to room as your devoted sidekick.   Weston is at the tail end of puppyhood, so you get the best of both worlds: he's fully potty trained but still has that fun, playful energy. He enjoys walks, chasing a ball in the yard, and relaxing nearby while his people work or watch TV. He sleeps soundly all night next to his people and can be left home alone for a few hours without any trouble.   Weston can be a little cautious with new people and new places, but once he trusts you, he's incredibly loving and loyal.   He enjoys other dogs but does best with clear boundaries around food, toys, and high-energy play. Because of this, he'd thrive either as the only dog in the home or with a calm, compatible canine companion. Weston would do best in a home with older children.   His ideal family is looking for more than a pet — they're looking for a best friend. If that's you, Weston is ready to love you for life.   If interested, please  complete the  Adoption Application  on our website at  www.NeedyPaws.org  and we will contact you.  Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO.
