Story
Khaos is a 7 year old big cuddle bug, he loves people, walks, running and playing. Hes a boxer so he is hyper and needs to be excersized. He has a great personality but does have mild behavioral issues. He will still get into the trash if its out. He will eat food on the counter if you leave it out and will tear up blinds if he sees something he wants outside. He doesn't do the best with other dogs specifically male dogs. When on walks we avoid other dogs because he will start barking at them and he doesnt always click with male dogs. We do still own his mother and they haven't had issues. We have had many laughs with Khaos. We have older kids who he does great with, we recently had a baby who has started to walk and this overstimulates Khaos. He is a great dog we just no longer have the time to provide what he deserves. I want to find someone who will understand, be patient, play and love him.

Story
Pet Location: Wayside Waifs CampusMy Friends at Wayside say:- I am a graduate of Waifs with Wisdom. In this program, I learned basic commands and leash walking skills. My adoption comes with a free 30-minute private training session. - I`m a sweet boy who enjoys being near people for pets.- I already know some basic commands!- My previous owner said that I am house-trained!- I would do well in a variety of homes.- I am eligible for a Slumber Pawty, a 7-10 day in-home trial period. Please visit our website for additional information. My home needs are:- I must meet other dogs in the home before adoption to ensure that we can be buddies.- Cats are much too interesting to me, so my home will need to be cat free.- Smaller animals such as rabbits or guinea pigs are much too interesting to me, so it is recommended my home is small animal free.Hi, I’m Bubba! I’m a 3-year-old mixed breed weighing over 44 pounds, but don’t let my size fool you, I’m a total lovebug at heart. I dream of being adored in my furever home and am always on the lookout for belly scratches. I’m needy in the best way, always wanting to be near humans who will shower me with attention. I’m very social and love meeting new people once I feel comfortable. Life feels brighter when someone is paying me attention, and I thrive on affection. I’m hoping to find a family who will love me for my big heart and playful personality.I’m currently enrolled in “Waits with Wisdom,” which means I’m learning all kinds of new skills like basic commands, leash walking, and how to be my best self. My new family will even get a free 30-minute private training session to help me settle in and learn faster. I enjoy learning and feel proud when I get praise for doing something right. I love clear guidance. It helps me feel confident and happy. I’m also curious and love exploring, so walks and activities are my favorite parts of the day.If you have other dogs, I’d need to meet them first to make sure we get along, but I’m usually very friendly and love doggy friends. Once I click with my new family, I promise to be loyal, loving, and full of joy. I’m ready to share adventures, playtime, and lots of cuddles with the right people. With patience and love, I’ll be a companion you’ll treasure every day. I’m excited to find a furever home where I can thrive and be adored. Do we sound like a good match?Love, Bubba

Story
Meet Freya Freya is an 8-month-old female Boxer/Pit mix puppy who is smart, playful, and full of potential. She does well with other dogs and would thrive in a home with older children who can respect puppy boundaries. Freya is very intelligent and eager to learn, and she’ll do best with an adopter ready to continue training. She would benefit from a secure yard with a tall, solid (non–chain link) fence so she can safely burn off energy and explore. Freya has already had bilateral cherry eye surgery and is doing well, with no special care needed beyond routine vet care. She’s a bright, loving pup ready to grow into an amazing companion with the right family. If you are interested in meeting Freya, please fill out an application via our website at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/TRP/Dog and we will get back to you via email once your application has been reviewed. If you have further questions please feel free to reach out to us at adoptionstrp@gmail.com. Freya's adoption fee is $250 and includes age-appropriate vaccines, spay, microchip, deworm, and cherry eye surgery on both eyes.

Story
Meet Espresso! Unfortunately we will never know this sweet old man's past, other than he was found as a stray and taken to a kill shelter where he was euth listed only because of his age. The only dog in an empty row they decided wasn't worth living and to walk down the hall and never return. We could not let that be his fate. Since being with us, this sweet old man has stolen every heart he's met. Espresso is mostly concerned with any person wiling to give him a little affection. He is so thankful to be given a second chance at life and would love to be yours furever. Espresso is good with other dogs at times, but we think we would do best in a home where he can be the only pup.
