Hi, I`m Stellaluna,I am a lovely senior lady (I am 9) who just wants to snack, go on chill walks, be near people, and cuddle! Really, what else could you look for in a dog? I am still a little under weight at 44 pounds but am doing so much better than when I first arrived.I know sit and come. I could probably learn more, but I think I know the important ones! I have met lots of dogs here. I pretty much ignore them all. I will say hi and then go off and do my own thing. If you have a dog we can do a slumber pawty to make sure we are all a good fit. They say I keep my kennel clean here in the shelter.I got to go on a field trip to QT, Fairway Creamery, Franklin Park, and Lowes. I loved the car ride, Pup Cup, relaxing on blanket during car ride, and meeting people at Lowes. I had so much fun just being out of the shelter. I can`t wait to do it again.Do you have a soft spot on your couch for me to hang out with you? I would love meet you. Make sure you ask for me at the desk. Cody is a 5 year old Boxer mix who weighs 48 lbs. Cody ended up in a shelter after his owner passed away. The shelter environment was overwhelming for him, but once he joined our program and settled into a foster home, his happy, affectionate personality began to shine again. Cody is a wonderful companion who loves being around people of all ages. He’s friendly and social with other dogs but will need a proper introduction when meeting new canine friends. He does prefer dogs closer to his size. Once he’s comfortable, he enjoys playing and spending time with them. He appears to be potty trained and clearly used to living inside — he appreciates the comforts of home and loves being part of the family.
