Meet Espresso! Unfortunately we will never know this sweet old man's past, other than he was found as a stray and taken to a kill shelter where he was euth listed only because of his age. The only dog in an empty row they decided wasn't worth living and to walk down the hall and never return. We could not let that be his fate. Since being with us, this sweet old man has stolen every heart he's met. Espresso is mostly concerned with any person wiling to give him a little affection. He is so thankful to be given a second chance at life and would love to be yours furever. Espresso is good with other dogs at times, but we think we would do best in a home where he can be the only pup.

They are the product of an owner who loved them, but could no longer care for them as the owner was a homeless individual struggling too. We promise to always make sure Jasper and Sinclair are forever loved and cared for and appreciate the previous owner putting the pups up for adoption to help them find a furever that can support them for the rest of of their lives. Meet Hercules! This sweet boy was once used for back yard breeding his entire young life. One day he escaped along with his mate and they were put on the euthanasia list. After almost a year with us, Hercules finally found an adopter where he lived the dream life he'd never had. Unfortunately, after a few months he was returned due to a change in their family dynamic. At first he was so nervous and scared and had no clue why he lost his home again. Hercules doesn't understand and we don't know how to tell him it's not because he isn't wonderful and sweet and worth the extra work, it just wasn't a right fit. Hercules needs a home with a dog-smart adopter. He previously had a long year of waiting, and now he is waiting again but we promise with all our heart he is worth it. Hercules lives up to his name, he is strong but his heart is pure. He is loving and kind and will protect you from all bugs (as chasing them is his favorite past time), he will make sure you are never bored and never without snuggles. He will do absolutely anything for his red rocket toys, they are his favorite thing in the world. He is working hard to make new doggie friends and has actually done super well with Butterball, a female pitty. Hercules can sometimes be slow to warm up to men. However for a while, he was very bonded to a male volunteer who even took him on a week-long semi truck tour across the state! He did so great and loved the personal attention. He is a true explorer, loves the wilderness and going on walks, he will pause to listen to the nature and take in the sights.

Meet Royce! When he came to us, he was around 3 years old, but he has been in our care for almost 2 years now. Royce is a really good boy. He weighs around 70 lbs but is a huge baby, one who does little bunny hops and snuggles like the baby boy he is. We found him on a euthanasia list at a local kill shelter where he had a terrible ear infection and allergies. His health issues are all cleared up now and he has just been patiently waiting and waiting for a family to love him. He loves all people and would make the perfect family dog. He really really likes playfully laid back female dogs to be his friend. His foster said: "Royce is doing great! He is potty trained, food motivated, a good kisser, and a huge people lover. Royce has done well on our walks and the top of the stairs/baby gate area. Royce seems to prefer our older dog at this point - rocking a chill vibe. Our younger is full on crazy and would play 24/7...he's not as comfortable there. It's seems playing is a concept he wasn't used to."

Duncan was in a terrible dog fight in the owners home. They never got him any support after the horrific attack. Shattered leg, and infection set in and we did immediate surgery to save his life. Now he is in need of a soft place to land, a loving family and a home to call his own.
