Story
Hi, my name is Harper! I was born in December of 2023. I appear to be a boxer mix and weigh 50 pounds. I came into rescue after I was found wandering around a rural neighborhood. I am the sweetest girl and love everyone I meet. No warm up period needed. My people say I have a lot of personality and I am a total wiggle butt. I have never been cat tested so my people are going to say no to a home with furry felines. I do well with other dogs. I would love to be with an active family. I was made for hiking! I have never been around children so it might be a good idea if they were eight and up. I am a healthy pup and if you are looking for a new fur baby, I may be the one. I am up to date on vaccines, spayed and microchipped. I am house trained and walk well on a leash. I ride well in the car and love to be out and about. If you are interested in giving me a forever home please email adopt@thezoeygroup.com for application links and additional information.

Story
Welcome Honey to CCPAL foster Program. Honey is a 3 year old Boxer mixed dog. She is potty trained. We think Honey survived the flood in Kerrville. A good samaritan has taken her in and is giving her good nutrition and love until we find her forever home. She was really scratched up and had a wound on her front left leg. She will be spayed soon and she is going to the vet again for a follow up on her leg. Our guess is it may have gotten broken and healed back on it’s own due to what she has gone through. She is good on a leash, very loving and bonds deeply. She lives with 5 cats right now but she is much too interested and we feel her best home would be without cats. She loves all people and no one is a stranger. She is good with dogs her size and is an energetic girl. Her best home would be with an active and ourdoorsy family that wants a great companion to join them in their outdoor fun. She is looking wonderful and filling out nicely in her new foster home. She lost some muscle around her bum area due to the length of time she was without food. Despite this, she would make an amazing family pet. She would love to be the only dog and be the center of her families attention. She weighs about 40 pounds and is a taller dog but medium weight. She is great in a car and would make a great dog in settings where lots of people are around. She is lower in shedding. She will be getting spayed soon and ready for her forever home. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
MEET RILEY, a 3-1/2-year-old Boxer-Shepherd mix in need of a foster or forever home! Riley was rescued in the nick of time from a crowded California shelter where he was pretty terrified... He sat in the back of the kennel and looked at people as they walked by. Riley is doing so much better, but he still gets scared in new situations, so needs a patient and loving foster or adopter. He has done fine with other dogs so far, and can be tested again. He weighs about 50-55 lbs. He is currently in California but can be transported to Washington. Please email for an application.

Story
Meet Bella – Waiting Over 5 Years for Her Forever Family Sweet Bella has been with Spring Branch Rescue for over 5 years, hoping for a family to finally see her!  As a puppy, Bella was kept in a crate for long hours. All she wanted was to play with the kids in her home, but instead she spent her days confined. Despite her rough start, she’s still full of love, joy, and personality. Bella is playful, affectionate, and loves being part of the conversation (yes, she’s a little vocal!). She’s crate-trained, loves her playtime, and thrives when she’s included in family life. She’s on a special salmon or beef-based diet for mild skin allergies — no poultry for this girl.  Bella deserves a home where she can be free to love, play, and belong. She’s waited long enough — could you be the one she’s been dreaming of? Adoption Info:Apply at www.springbranchrescue.orgNot in Texas? No problem! We offer transport to the Pacific NW and East Coast. Bella is ready to be part of your family — forever. ##2149754##

Story
The Best 8-Year-Old “Puppy” Around! Looking for a dog who’s got just the right mix of wisdom and zoomies? Meet Gunner! At 8 years old, he’s got life figured out—except for why squirrels won’t be his friends. Why He’s Awesome: Knows important commands like “sit” and “go lie down” (though he sometimes pretends not to hear after “no more treats”). Crate trained—his “man cave” is his happy place. Leash trained, but if another dog walks by… let’s just say he gets very enthusiastic about making new friends. Neutered and fully vaccinated—basically, a low-maintenance best friend. He’s sweet, playful, and great with people of all ages. If you’re looking for a dog that’s past the puppy chaos but still ready for adventures (or couch naps), Gunner is your guy!  We have fosters all over the Pacific Northwest & East Coast allowing us to post in specific cities. Due to Covid 19 restrictions all Meet & Greets have been cancelled to keep everyone safe. Our adoptable pets are in Houston living with local foster families making the transition into your household a whole lot easier. Our application review takes about 10 days.  This adoption process will require 3 videos of (outside of your home, backyard, and inside of your home) since we are not able to conduct home checks at this time. We will be calling 2 references (Not related to you please). We will be contacting your veterinarian (We work with 1st time owners) to make sure you have vaccinated all your pets yearly, and that all have been spayed/neutered. Our transport company leaves Houston every 2 weeks for the Pacific Northwest & East Coast. We will book your baby as soon as adoption & transport fees have been received.  If you have fallen madly in love and would like to make this baby part of your family, then go to https://www.petstablished.com/organization/920716    ##2351783##

Story
7 year old, 80 pound neutered American Bulldog. UTD on vaccines and health exams with no known health issues. His temperament is very much a guard dog mentality, with lower energy levels. Great for snuggling on the couch and having a companion who just wants your company. He has a high prey drive, so he cannot be placed with a family who has cats or small animals, although female dogs are okay. He also has a “Leader of the Pack” alpha presence, so it would be best to go to a home with female dogs only - or no other animals at all. He’s wonderful with children and infants, though! My fiancé and I are rehoming due to HOA restrictions where we live; and I have two cats. So, Rolo and his female companion, Freya, have been staying with my fiancé’s mom’s home until we can find other arrangements. He’s a wonderful addition to the family, and all we want is to find a loving home for him.
