Story
Millie is in a foster home, and is currently not at the shelter. Please find info below on how to adopt her - thanks.Hi, I'm Millie. I'm a very people-oriented young girl. I'm already crate-trained and have made some dog friends while here at the shelter. And - I LOVE cheese!Pets are complex beings, and we could not possibly share everything about them in a short adoption bio. Prior to adoption, interested adopters will have an adoption counseling with one of our staff members where everything we know about an animal (including known behavioral and medical information) will be shared. I'm on social media too! Follow me and my friends on Facebook and Instagram to see our fun adventures and learn more about us:Facebook https://www.facebook.com/SeattleAnimalShelter?mibextid=LQQJ4dInstagram https://instagram.com/seattleanimalshelter?igshid=MWI4MTIyMDE=HOW TO ADOPT - Please fill out a Dog Adoption Application, available at http://www.seattle.gov/animalshelter/forms.htm and email it to the Seattle Animal Shelter Foster Dog Program at adoptionreview@gmail.com.IMPORTANT NOTE: Many of our dogs will receive numerous applications, and the Seattle Animal Shelter asks for your patience during the process of finding the very best match. If you have questions about this dog that have not been answered above, please contact us at adoptionreview@gmail.com. If you would like to arrange to meet this dog, you must submit an adoption application. Thank you!

Peak (or Peakers, as we affectionately call him around here) is a sweet and loving boy with the cutest head tilt you'll ever see! He's smaller than he looks in pictures, and is still a pretty young fella. He loves treats and is a lovely walk buddy when the neighborhood is calm and quiet for him. He 'll make the most loyal lifelong friend, but due to previous living circumstances we feel he should go to a home with no masculine-presenting individuals.I'm on social media too! Story
Meet Marigold! This cutie was rescued from a bad situation when she was just 5 weeks old. She is doing great now and is in one of our loving foster homes.  Marigold is a lovely girl. She is affectionate, social and so so sweet. For such a young pup she is smart and well behaved. Her foster family is in love with her. She will do great with other dogs in the home, or as an only pup.  She is vaccinated and chipped and will be spayed at our cost between 8-12 months of age. Her adoption fee is $495. We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon! Story
Hi I am Bonga, I know, I am as cute as can be. I am a pretty shy girl when I first meet people or other dogs, but I warm up quickly and love to play and have fun. I am not what you would describe as a leader, but I like to follow.Toys are fun, balls are my favorite unless of course, you have a stuffie, then I love to tear them apart and see what’s in them. I know I am a 2-year-old, but I am still a puppy at heart. My foster family has a baby, and she is so cute, I know that I have to be gentle with her, so I keep my distance and wag my tail to be friends.I don’t know anything about cats, they may be friends but maybe not.Car rides are fun, I love to see the road fly by, and I will bark at motorcycles and bikes when I see them. I usually stay in my seat, and I don’t get dizzy or sick in the car. I haven’t been to the beach yet, but I think that might be fun. Maybe you and I could do that together?I have lots of things to learn about being a great dog and I need someone who has the patience to teach me. Could that someone be you?If you think so, then fill in the application and we can meet on a Zoom call.Lots of love to give,Bonga To get more information go to https://hope4lapawz.org/adopt and click on the dog's photo. There you will see any videos, more photos and details.

Story
Special Considerations: no other pets, available for permanent foster Meet Tesla! This snuggly girl was dumped by her breeder and has been with us her entire life! She is the most loving dog you will ever meet and quickly became a staff favorite. She has a neurologic disorder that causes fecal incontinence, but she’s very familiar with diapers and prefers to go outside. She loves chasing water from the hose and chewing her toys, but she really loves cuddling up on your lap. She doesn't like to share her people or things so she needs to be the only pet in the home, but she’s the best cuddler with her favorite people. If you’ve been looking for the most wonderful and wiggliest boxer, Tesla is your girl! Tesla is current on vaccines, spayed and microchipped.

Story
Welcome Pumpkin to CCPAL Rescue. She is a 7-year-old Boxer/Cattle dog is our best guess. She weighs about 50 pounds. She has the most adorable underbite. She had an older man as her owner and he died and now Pumpkin is looking for her forever home. Her teeth are clean and she will not need a dental anytime soon. The older man that owned her took good care of this girl. She is a lower energy girl that would love an older couple or older single person to call her new family. She loves attention here at the rescue and she is really not sure what just happened. Every time we get her out of the kennels to walk her she is looking for her new owner. We are honored to help this charming dog. She would be great for someone wanting a companion dog. She is potty trained, leash trained and very sweet. She is getting all her vaccines topped up and will be looking for her forever home. She will be an easy dog to bring in as she isn’t too energetic and has lived in a home until recently so she is very mannerly. She doesn’t jump up which is a bonus in a rescue dog. She can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 250 and transport is 180. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpal.info/ See her cute video!!
