Story
Hi! My name is Chanel and I am available for adoption.I was brought in by a good samaritan on March 11, 2026. I did have a microchip, but unfortunately my owner never came for me.I weigh 81.0 lbs and am considered and `large breed` dog. I must admit I am quite chonky and should be about 5-10 lbs lighter. I do enjoy walks outside and smelling everything the world has got to offer so I can be down to a healthy size in no time!I went to a foster home for a little break and they quickly learned that I must be kenneled when left alone, if not I can be a little descructive. Please ask my caregivers about how to properly crate-train me :)I am a spirited dog with a fun-loving personality! I am still working on my manners, so I would do best with a family who is willing to work with me and help me become the best dog I can be!

Story
Meet Loki: The Sweetheart with a Speckled Nose and a Heart of Gold Looking for love in the form of a super squishy face, adorable freckles, and perfect Dorito ears? Look no further, because Loki is ready to find his forever home! From brown eyes full of love, a pink-speckled nose that’s just begging for kisses, and a sprinkling of freckles beneath his velvety white coat, Loki is a gentle soul who thrives on connection, routine, and plenty of cuddle time. Affectionate and sensitive, Loki is happiest when he’s near his people - curled up beside you during work hours, following you from room to room, or quietly watching the world go by from a cozy dog bed. He’s a champion snuggler and an expert at using his dog siblings as chin rests. He’ll even let you know when it’s time for the next part of his day, whether that’s breakfast, a walk, or a quick romp outside. This velvety sweetheart thrives on predictability and kindness. He’ll need a home that’s more chill than chaotic, where his routine-loving personality can shine and where his humans are home often enough to include him in the fun.  Loki does great with other calm and respectful dogs, especially those who enjoy a good sunbathe or a quiet game of chase. He likes to take his time meeting new doggie friends, but once he’s comfortable, he loves being part of a pack. Loki will absolutely bloom with a confident dog buddy who can show him the ropes and share the couch. Loki loves being outside (as long as it’s not raining!) and will enjoy a secure yard for daily explorations and zoomies. His favorite things include sniffy strolls, destination walks, soft toys to de-fluff, and just being part of whatever you’re doing. He might even be up for a leisurely jog around the block! Loki has IBD and takes daily medication to help his gut comfort. He will need to remain on a strict prescription food diet, but luckily, he loves his kibbles and will happily accept them as snacks and rewards! Loki is estimated to have been born in October 2018 and weighs 65 lbs. Loki is loyal, loving, and full of charm. If you’re ready to give Loki the stability, love, and all the cuddles he could dream of, he’s more than ready to fill your life with warmth and tail wags! Apply for Loki today! Loki’s adoption fee is $450. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. Per our rescue policy, unless specifically noted in a dog's bio, we will not consider adoption applications from families with children under 5 years old.  Fill out an adoption application for Loki at: https://www.forgottendogsrescue.com/adoption-application ##1602034##

Story
Meet Fern — the queen of cuddles and queen of zoomies! This sweet, spunky girl is the perfect mix of playful energy and snuggly charm. Fern loves her walks, thrives on playtime, and will happily claim every cuddle you’re willing to offer (and then some). If you're searching for a mid-sized pup who brings laughter, joy, and blanket burrowing into your life, Fern is your girl! She’s searching for her forever family—but also needs a loving foster home in the meantime! Fern is a social butterfly and a home with another playful dog is a must! She’s happiest when she has a best friend to run with, wrestle, and chase squeaky toys around the yard. After a good play session, she’ll be ready for some serious snuggle time; she’s not shy about curling up close and demanding her share of love! This incredible and affectionate girl is also crate-trained, potty trained, and always eager to learn new things. Got treats and praise? Fern is all in! She’s a smart cookie who loves working on new skills and will happily show off for a snack. An active lifestyle is a great match for Fern. She’s athletic, loves to run off leash, and zips around like the wind. She also enjoys long sniffy walks and any adventure that gets her out and moving. Once she’s had her exercise, Fern is content to settle in with a cozy blanket or a fun puzzle toy. (Her nickname is Darth Blanket because of her signature move: burrowing under the covers for a nap.) Fern is ready to find her forever family and if you’ve got a playful pup and a blanket or two, she just might be ready to find it with you. Fern is estimated to have been born in August 2023 and weighs 35 lbs. We believe she could be a Pit Bull mix, but we don't know her breed for sure. She can’t wait to show you how much you’ll mean to her. She’s a super sweetie and love just oozes out of her! Fern’s adoption fee is $450 and she is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped prior. Per our rescue policy, unless specifically noted in a dog's bio, we will not consider applications from families with children under 5 years old. If interested in adopting Fern, please fill out an adoption application at: https://www.forgottendogsrescue.com/adoption-application or send an email to adopt@forgottendogsrescue.com. ##2316739##
