Frida is a beautiful female calico with a wonderful blend of independence and sweetness. She enjoys her own space but is also playful and loving when it is time to interact. Frida can be picked up and handled with ease, making her an easygoing and affectionate cat. She was rescued but was already so loving despite this. She weighs 7.5 pounds and is bonded with Mona who is also listed on here, and the two share a special connection that would make them a perfect pair in their forever home for those willing. Frida is spayed, microchipped, and has all her services up to date (rabies, initial fvrcp vaccine, and tested FELV/FIV), so she is ready for her forever home. It would be great if she was adopted together with Mona but not a must. Frida has one ear clipped as she was originally scheduled to be released but fostered instead. Born in 2019, this beautiful 7-year-old calico girl was rescued from a home where the owner's health issues were causing them to forget to feed Cali and accidentally locking her in rooms with aggressive dogs. Thankfully, Cali was not harmed, or worse. Cali is the perfect combination of affectionate without being needy. She has a chill personality and gets along with other cats, but can also be adopted as a singlet. She would do fine with cat-savvy gentle children and in busy or quiet households. She is gentle and sweet at the weekend adoption site, lying on her side and accepting pattings. Mars has been a beloved family member since kittenhood, and this is a carefully planned transition due to a move motivated by cancer (and treatment). We want Mars to have the stable, predictable home life he deserves. He is 14, a solid middle-aged cat with many good years ahead. Mars is extremely affectionate and very chatty. He loves to greet you at the door, and stay close to his people. He is friendly, social, and forms strong bonds. His energy level is calm with playful moments, and he enjoys sunbeams, windows, laser pointers, and exploring. He is healthy and does very well on a urinary-safe diet, which should be maintained. He does not over-eat and will not quickly remind you if his bowl is empty. He is treat trainable. Mars is best as an indoor cat, or indoor with a secure outdoor space. He grew up with a small dog and may do well with calm dogs under 35 lbs. We are moving mid-March 2026 and taking a slow, thoughtful approach.
