Mars has been a beloved family member since kittenhood, and this is a carefully planned transition due to an upcoming international move that would involve constant change. We want Mars to have the stable, predictable home life he deserves. He is 14, a solid middle-aged cat with many good years ahead. Mars is extremely affectionate and very chatty. He loves to greet you at the door, and stay close to his people. He is friendly, social, and forms strong bonds. His energy level is calm with playful moments, and he enjoys sunbeams, windows, laser pointers, and exploring. He is healthy and does very well on a strict urinary-safe diet, which must be maintained. He does not over eat and will not quickly remind you if his bowl is empty. He is treat trainable. Mars is best as an indoor cat, or indoor with a secure outdoor space. He grew up with a small dog and may do well with calm dogs under 35 lbs. We are moving mid-March 2026 and taking a slow, thoughtful approach.
