Story
Tina’s the sweetest kitten I’ve had, and the most advanced as well. A little vocal and will make it known she wants some pets, she will rub her face on you and make you feel loved. She was born in my house but unfortunately I’m unable to keep her because of my landlord, ( I have 4 cats as it is). I know there’s a loving home for her out there :)

She absolutely loves head and chin scratches, and she’ll happily purr in appreciation as you show her some affection. Please contact Renee (givethemahappylife@gmail.com) for more information about this pet. Want to meet? [Fill out the Application], then email it to the contact in this bio.  TO INQUIRE ABOUT THESE CATS email Renee at GiveThemaHappyLife@gmail.com Include a bit about your home, who lives there and why you are interested in adopting a kittens now.  Thank you!   This cat is a GEM. I’ve fostered over 500, animals and this cat is in my top 3 best fosters ever. Not only is she gorgeous beyond measure, but her personality is to die for. She is friendly to absolutely everyone! She is extremely outgoing, and completely rules the house. She is beyond generous with her purrs, and is about as affectionate as they come. Do not miss out on this one-in-a-million cat!  The last video is of Delphine stealing a bag of rice from the kitchen on her first outing out of her kitten room.  LOL.  She doesn't know food is unlimited for her! We have not seen her with cats other than her kittens which she was fiercely protective of so think it would be best for her to land in a home where she is the only pet.  Someone with cat experience could do a very long introduction period to acclimate her to another cat.   ErikaClick here to watch a video of Delphine.June 19, 2025, 11:51 pm

Story
Meet King Koopa & Wendy O – A Bonded Pair Looking for Their Forever Home! These two sweethearts had a loving home, but sadly, their mama passed away, and they suddenly found themselves at the Placer County SPCA. That’s when we at Umbrella of Hope were asked to step in—and of course, we said yes. Koopa was originally with us as a kitten until he was adopted to be a companion for Little One, who thrives best with a feline friend by her side. Now, they're back with us, still bonded and still so full of love to give. King Koopa is the confident explorer. He’s the first to come say hi and loves to hang out on your desk while you work, keeping you company and supervising your productivity. Wendy O is more reserved at first—she needs a little extra time to feel safe—but once she does, she blossoms. She loves relaxing in the windowsill, soaking in the sunshine and watching the birds outside. They both have gentle souls and just need a patient, loving human to help them feel secure again. And yes—they absolutely adore their afternoon wet food treat! If you’re ready to open your heart and home to this bonded pair of lovebugs, please email beourpet@gmail.com. Let’s find them the happy ending they deserve. We are on all social media at @umbrellaofhope and we invite you to follow us and share which helps more people see and adopt our pets.  To help our ALL VOLUNTEER team rescue more senior, special needs, medically needy and hospice animals (and a few 'typical' ones along the way, please consider making a tax-deductible (TAX ID 45-4103375) donation online at www.paypal.me/UOH or Venmo @umbrellaof-hoperescue or Zelle beourpet@gmail.com.   You can also buy tees, tanks. sweatshirts, hats and bandannas where all proceeds benefit our animals https://ruff-life-rescue-wear.myshopify.com/collections/umbrella-of-hope We also have an Etsy store where the merchandise is made by volunteers and supporters, changes regularly and 100% of the proceeds benefit our medical fund https://www.etsy.com/shop/Umbrellaofhope Amazon Wish List tinyurl.com/pineapplewish  April 29, 2025, 12:10 pm

Story
Meet Radish – A Sweet Soul with a Wobbly Walk and a Heart Full of Love Radish is a 3-year-old neutered male Domestic Shorthair with a condition called cerebellar hypoplasia (CH), sometimes affectionately called “wobbly cat syndrome.” His case is on the severe side, so Radish stumbles and falls often—but he doesn’t let that stop him from loving life in his own gentle way. Despite his unsteady steps, Radish uses his litter box reliably and prefers the simple comforts of a calm environment. He’s not on any medication and doesn’t require specialized care—just a little awareness and a lot of love. Radish is a creature of habit and peace. He’s happiest lounging in front of the sliding glass door, watching the world go by. While he tends to stick to one room during the day, we’ve caught signs that he explores a little at night—proving he has a quiet curiosity, even if he’s not one to roam much. He lives for head scratches and attention from his humans and will meow to greet you with a soft, raspy voice that melts hearts. He prefers wet food (and insists on a plate instead of a bowl—his unique dining style leads to some hilarious tipping adventures). His long fur is as soft as his temperament and benefits from daily brushing to keep shedding in check. Because of his frequent tumbles, Radish would do best in a home without small children, where he can feel safe and relaxed. He would be a perfect fit for someone looking for a companion to share quiet moments, warm laps, and cozy window views. Radish doesn’t need a perfect home—just one with patience, gentleness, and a deep appreciation for the beautifully imperfect. Ready to open your heart and home to Radish? He’s waiting by the door. GENERAL INFO:   Housebroken?: Yes, we think so Non-Shedding?: No Good with cats?: Yes Good with dogs?: Unknown Qualifies for Seniors for Seniors?: No Umbrella of Hope does not have any strict rules on ages of children because all children are different, but our best approximation is that this animal would do best with children over the age of 5 Umbrella of Hope is an all-volunteer, donation-run, non-profit animal rescue based out of Pittsburg, CA that rescues animals from local shelters, places them in private foster homes, provides them with needed medical care and then finds them new homes.  Also, ask us about our seniors for seniors program, where we adopt animals 5 years or older to qualified homes with a $5 donation as an adoption fee. All animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, treated for parasites and given any additional treatments (dental work, bloodwork etc) as recommended by our vet.  Adoptions to veterans of the US Armed Services are ALWAYS free to thank you for your service.   We thank Well Pet Vet Clinic for providing most of our veterinary services and give a special thanks to volunteer photographers Tanya, Barbara, Kristy, Christine, Teressa and Natalie. You can also buy tees, tanks. sweatshirts, hats and bandannas where all proceeds benefit our animals https://ruff-life-rescue-wear.myshopify.com/collections/umbrella-of-hope We also have an Etsy store where the merchandise is made by volunteers and supporters, changes regularly and 100% of the proceeds benefit our medical fund https://www.etsy.com/shop/Umbrellaofhope Amazon Wish List tinyurl.com/pineapplewish  June 18, 2025, 12:44 pm
