Ninja is a sweet and affectionate 9 yr old girl. She is curious and loves to play. She was named Ninja Princess for her distinctive CatGirl black eye mask and her stealth and quiet movements. Ninja has different colored front legs, one is orange, the other black. Her paws are also multicolored, pink and black matching her nose. She has never been around dogs or small children and is strictly an indoor cat. She would do best as an only pet, being the center of attention, focusing on her human. She enjoys cat towers near the window where she watches birds and squirrels outside who visit her daily. Meet TT & BLT – A Bonded Pair Looking for Their Forever Home! TT and BLT are two adorable 4-month-old sisters who are ready to find a family willing to open their hearts to both of them. Rescued as tiny feral street kittens at just 5 weeks old, these girls have blossomed into affectionate, loving companions while remaining deeply bonded to one another. TT is a beautiful tabby tortie with a sweet, slightly sassy personality. She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once she trusts you, she's an absolute cuddle bug. Pick her up, give her a few pets, and she'll happily melt into your arms for snuggles and affection. BLT, her striking black tortie sister, is a little more outgoing and playful. She loves being held and has a loud, rumbling purr that starts the moment you give her attention. She's always ready for playtime but equally happy soaking up cuddles. Both girls have been: Tested negative for FeLV/FIV Dewormed Scheduled to receive their final FVRCP vaccine, FeLV vaccine, and one-year rabies vaccine next week They do well with dogs, have adjusted nicely to other cats after a brief introduction period, and are experienced using a Litter-Robot. At just one year old, Dusty lost everything familiar—her home, her human, and her furry family. Ciara came to us about a year ago when her owner unexpectedly passed away. She had lived in a house with a few other cats and got along well with them. She then thought she had found her forever home when she was abruptly returned to the organization. She is nothing but the sweetest thing and loves to snuggle, be a lap cat, she loves to play with a lazer pointer, crinkly toys and loves a bit of cat nip from time to time as a guilty pleasure. This amazing cat needs to hit the jack pot with this next phase of her life and know that this is going to be her forever home. Cats live up to 20 years and are not disposable and need to be considered as part of your family. Smooth Transitions A new cat/kitten should be isolated in one room (a bathroom is best so he/she can’t hide under a bed or couch) for 7-10 days. This also allows the cats to become familiar with the sounds and scents of the house. If you have other cat(s) and/or dogs this allows for proper introductions for each other before meeting, which tends to smooth out the first encounter considerably. Make sure you spend lots of quality time with your new cat/kitten during the isolation period so that he/she associates the new smells and sounds of the new cat with positive attention. Eventually, you may introduce the new cat within a carrier to the other cat and judge the response. When the introduction response becomes neutral or calmly interested, a barrier-free meeting may be in order. Trust your read on the mood between the cats. We feed our kittens/cats Kirkland brand cat/kitten food.. Make sure to transition onto the food you will be feeding slowly to help from getting loose stool, continued diarrhea can cause dehydration and can become a medical emergency.
