She loves to be held and purrs the whole time.  Her fur is the super soft fur, like rabbit fur.  She and her siblings are unusual in their verbalization; as they are happily playing, they "growl" at each other or at their toys.  It's not a mean growl, it's just their constant noise as they play. She loves to play with balls, mouse toys and fishing pole toys.  As she plays she makes a soft "growling" noise. Queen B (Ruler) she is named ruler because of the perfect line of orange and black down her nose, and like the song, she is a ruler, a true Queen B. Brave, smart, adventurous, confident,curious (mischievous too) loves to play, cuddles, and would be a great candidate for someone who wants to harness train for outdoor adventures. She’s not all play, when it comes to affection, she gets 5 stars. She needs a LOT of affection and attention, like any queen. She wants all the kisses, adoration and snuggles galore. Despite her rough beginnings & being introduced into a home with three other spicy resident cats, she never hissed back or raised a paw. Are you Jon’s soulmate? Jon initially joined us in 2021 as a fearful kitten from an apartment complex in Green Valley from a Campus Cat Coalition, Inc. project. Our little Green Lantern was shy, but warmed up quickly for pets, fishy treats, and baby talk from his foster mom. We found what we thought was a loving home in 01/2022, but received the horrifying news in 12/2023 from Solano County Sheriff's Office Animal Care Division that he was relinquished by a hoarder. His foster team had tremendous feelings of failure and guilt for inadvertently placing him into this dangerous and neglectful situation and arrived at their facility within 15 minutes to pick him up and begin rebuilding the hero he once was. For two months, his foster mom watched him go from trembling and shaking to beginning to recognize her voice again as a safe thing. Lots of treats, praise, play, and help from other foster cats gradually helped him recognize that he was no longer going to be scruffed, shoved into a carrier, and transported back and forth in an effort to hide he and the other animals from the landlord. His foster mom needed surgery and asked one of our newer team members and her daughter if they would continue helping Johnny heal from his ordeal. Then, something amazing happened. Within 2 weeks, he was taking treats and starting to play and then he started to make rapid progress into a timid at times, affectionate boy. In 01/2025, his foster posted an update of him playing in the house with strangers watching him. In 02/2025, he was integrated into the full house and asking for pets. Everyday he becomes a little more confident and secure in himself and has surpassed all of our expectations. Johnny is a gentle, shy, and intelligent cat who thrives on verbal praise, consistency, and patience. We have been gently working on his cooperative care skills and being picked up (not carried). He has lived with animals of all kinds and his insecurities are primarily about his bodily autonomy. Our dream home would be a kitten foster parent! He truly enjoys the company of younger cats and teaches them how to play. He likes his teenaged-human foster sister and has been sitting on the couch with strangers. We know he will need an adjustment period and may take a one step back initially. We never give up on our heroes and hope to find him a home that will love him as unconditionally as we have.

Wave is a short haired, black, neutered male born in April 2024. During his weaning period from the bottle, his care team recognized that something was off about his digestive tract-it’s…crappy 😅. With help from Happy Tails Animal Hospital and his SUPERHERO foster, Wendy, we determined that he is unable to tell when he’s full and has some physical defects in his hips. Despite his rocky start, he has always been a happy, playful, outgoing, and “normal” cat. His Akita nanny taught him a few puppy behaviors, so he can be playfully nippy with fingers, but never aggressive. Our dream home is one with a dog, windows to sun himself in, and that will cuddle him. He is a 100% indoor only cat who needs a low/moderate energy family with a consistent schedule. He is startled by sudden loud noises-but recovers quickly. He can happily live with cats who will play with him and does well with kids 13+. Once in a while, a solid small poop finds its way out of the box and advanced imaging with a specialist may provide more insight. His ongoing needs are a prescription diet (Hill’s ID) and unconditional love. Did we mention he LOVES dogs and the vet office?!

Meet and match with the strongest and most adventurous kittens in all of Solano County. These BOMBPROOF kittens have been raised with cats, small dogs, and go on frequent day trips. Karinda is short haired, tuxedo cat with short white socks who is always first in line for food and cleans up after his siblings. Arvak is Karinda’s twin with long socks. He’s playful, adventurous, and swims in his food. Frost is a white and brown tabby with short hair and a knack for adventure. He can climb and gallop fatser than his siblings. Shadowmere is a short haired, black female who wears a diamond necklace on her chest. She’s the boss of her brothers and can never be bothered to pose for photos. They would like an indoor-only home with cat trees to climb, puzzles to solve, and plenty of love.
