Calico kittens & cats in Utica, Michigan

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. A QUIET HOME NEEDED FOR A VERY SPECIAL GIRL  This sweet little calico is 9 years old, spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccinations, and incredibly loving. ❤️ Sadly, her world has changed. She once shared her home happily with other cats, including an older kitty she was especially close to. One by one, her feline companions passed away from old age, and since losing her favorite friend, she has struggled. There is also a small dog in the home, and although they are the same age, she is simply afraid of dogs. She now spends much of her time hiding away. Her family is keeping them separated, but they know that isn't the life this sweet girl deserves. They want her to have the chance to thrive again, in a peaceful home where she doesn't have to live in fear. She has previously loved living with other cats, so a calm feline companion may be just what she needs. A quiet, dog-free homewould be ideal. Her family loves her tremendously, and this decision is breaking their hearts. They are willing to send her with everything to help make the transition easier: her bed, food, treats, catnip, litter, and soft-sided carrier. Sometimes loving an animal means recognizing that the home they need may be different from the home we can give them. This little lady deserves sunny windows, cozy beds, gentle companionship, and the freedom to come out of hiding.  Interested in giving her that home? Please email Making Miracles Animal Rescue at mmarpaws@gmail.com and we will put you in touch with her family. Please share. Her peaceful little retirement home might be waiting somewhere in your friends list. ❤️Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.  ********************************************************************************** We show some of our adoptable dogs at PetSmart, Utica, each Saturday between the hours of 11:00am and 3:00pm.  Cats typically don't do well at events, so they only attend with a pre-approved meet and greet appointment. If you are interested in a particular pet, we suggest you email: mmarpaws@gmail.com to see if that pet will be there.   Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, not on a first come, first served basis. On site adoption available to pre-approved applicants only.   Adoption fees go towards vaccines, heartworm prevention/testing, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter and other medical problems that may arise.   MMAR is an all volunteer, foster based, 501 (c) 3, non profit organization. Without your donation, wonderful pets like these have to be passed by because we cannot afford their care.   If you would like to donate please send donation to: MMAR Box 180155 Utica, MI 48318   Donate online at https://www.sanilacscoopers.org/   Please email us at mmarpaws@gmail.com for additional information or to set up special appointments September 27, 2026, 9:49 am

These lovely calico sisters are Angel & Stormy. Stormy was a young mother who came with 3 newborn kitten and her sister. She was a wonderful mom to her kittens, but was afraid of people. After the kittens were adopted, Stormy bonded with her sister Angel. Angel was also leary of people, but a bit more trusting. Their foster began the patient process of socializing them. They've progressed tremendously but have a ways to go. Angel has discovered that she loves to be pet and purrs loud like a motor to let us know she is happy. Stormy likes to play, but still keeps a distance and has not yet discovered the joys of petting. They both sleep on their foster's bed at night and like to be near her. They are often curled up together napping, or playing together with their toys. They are sweet, gentle, quiet, and shy. They will do well in a home that is calm and quiet with someone special who can meet them at their level and build their confidence. They are available for foster or adoption. Their foster has done amazing work with them, but has others to care for as well. Angel & Stormy would benefit from someone who can carry the torch and focus on them directly. They are young about 3 years old, fixed and fully vetted. Angel is the one always pictured in front. She has the most natural confidence, so Stormy feels safe snoozing behind her.

Mom cat has been coming around for about a yr, we have been feeding her. She had kittens, they are 4 months old now. One of a female calico and the other is a white brown tabby. They are vaccinated, spayed and neutered, and microchipped. We have brought them indoors. They are looking for a loving home, a home that keep brother and sister kitten together. They are friendly, healthy, and need some love and attention!

found as stray, had a litter of kittens and now looking for a forever home she is good with other cats if introduced correctly

Meet Wren 🐾 Wren’s story began in a warehouse, where this tiny little girl was found all alone at just 3 weeks old. There was no mama cat, no siblings, and no one to care for her. She was covered in fleas and already fighting so hard to survive. Thankfully, Wren found her way into rescue, where her amazing foster family stepped in and bottle-fed her, cared for her, and gave her all the love she needed to grow. Against the odds, this little fighter thrived. ❤️ Now, at 3 months old, Wren is a beautiful calico/tortie with a BIG personality to match her adorable face. She is opinionated, sassy, playful, and incredibly cuddly. She knows what she wants and isn't afraid to let you know it! Once she's ready for snuggles, though, she's happy to curl up with her people and soak up all the affection. Wren is also wonderfully social and does great with other cats, dogs, and gentle children. She has come such a long way from the tiny, flea-covered kitten fighting to survive in that warehouse. Now she's healthy, happy, spayed, vaccinated, and ready for the part of her story we've been waiting for — finding her forever family. 🏡💕 If you're looking for a playful little companion with plenty of sass and an enormous heart, Wren may be your girl!
