Meet Olive! 🩷Olive is a beautiful 2-year-old calico looking for a loving forever home. This is an incredibly difficult decision for our family, and our only goal is to find the perfect home for her.Olive is very sweet and affectionate with the people she trusts. She has a strong bond with me and my daughter, but she has never warmed up to my husband and will hiss or swat at him if he gets too close. I am unsure if she doesn’t like men in general, or just him. We believe Olive would be happiest in a calm, quiet home with no small children and preferably no other pets. She would do best with someone who understands that some cats need time and patience to build trust. Olive is an indoor cat and has never been outside. Every now and again we come across a cat who isn’t like other cats, a cat who doesn’t fit any of the molds and whose behavior leaves us puzzled. Peaches is a perfect example. She and several other outdoor cats had been hanging around a warehouse, scavenging for food. She was underweight, skittish and we knew it was only a matter of time before she became pregnant. One of our intrepid fosters felt compelled to help. She managed to trap her along with two other cats, Clementine and Mr. Apple, and introduced them to indoor living. While they have all made huge progress in adapting to their new life, Peaches is still a little wary around people but her body language suggests that, deep down, she really does want to trust them. She follows her foster mom around the house and she loves to play with toys. She will flip over on her back and expose her belly, but quickly recoil when anyone tries to pet her. Peaches enjoys playing games on the kitty iPad and she loves playing with her feline buddies. She’s just not quite ready for a touchy-feely relationship with a human. She is very food motivated and would probably be happiest in a home with one of her feline friends or another young cat. Hi everyone, this is really hard for me to write. I’m looking to rehome my sweet cat, and this decision has not come easily. She is an incredibly loving, gentle, and tolerant cat—she’s been amazing with my three young, often rowdy kids and has always been patient and sweet with them. She truly has a wonderful personality and enjoys being around people. Over the past several months, she has been dealing with ongoing health issues, including frequent vomiting (sometimes with blood) and recently going to the bathroom outside the litter box. We have taken her to the vet multiple times, run tests, and tried different foods as recommended. While there have been brief improvements, the issues continue and we haven’t been able to find a clear cause or long-term solution. With everything going on in our household, I’m struggling to keep up with her needs and maintain a clean, safe environment for my kids. As heartbreaking as this is, I believe she deserves a home best for her needs.

This cute guy is Daryl. He is 1&1/2 years old. He is absolutely the best little buddy! I adopted him hoping to find a companion for my resident cat, but after three months she still won't accept him. I am also undergoing chemotherapy and don't have the energy nor time to devote to working things out between them. Daryl is such a nice, fun loving, energetic, sweet kitty. Not a mean bone in his body. He loves to play fetch with drinking straws, it's adorable! He is super interactive. He will tag along wherever, whatever you're doing around the house, whether it's running circles around the broom while you sweep or showing his appreciation while you clean his litterbox. He loves a nice belly rub and a window to look out. He would do well in a home with another playful cat or two that can match his energy. I have grown so attached to him, but he really deserves a loving home that can provide him with all the physical and mental stimulation he needs.
