Meet Ayra ALL PETS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION ONLY TO RESIDENTS OF THE DALLAS/FT WORTH METROPLEX MEET AND GREET APPOINTMENTS SET UP WITH PRE-APPROVED APPLICATION ONLY Ayra and her 3 kittens were taken in by a rescue friend so when she asked for help with finding them forever homes how could we say no! They are absolutely stunning with gorgeous markings. ! Mama Ayra is very affectionate and talkative. All of the cats including Mama love playing with each other so would do well adopted in pairs or into homes with other cats. They have learned to tolerate/scare off my dog but I wouldn’t say that they get along. If you would like to meet Ayra, the first step in the process is to complete an application. Story
Penny is about a year and a half old. We got her in Oklahoma on a whim for my son but soon found out that he and my husband are allergic to her. We have tried to make it work with her in our house and keeping her separated somewhat but it is too difficult and I want her to have as much attention as she wants/needs. We also just had another baby so that is another factor for us. She is the most sweet and playful girl and we love her so much and wish we could keep her. Looking for someone to help us give her the life she deserves. She gets along well with our other (hypoallergenic) cat and was also great with our Rottweiler who recently passed away. She is not spayed or up to date on her shots but she has never been outside or exposed to anything potentially harmful.

emotional)ShortenBrandy2½ years old • Female • Tabby & white⏳ In rescue 688 daysBrandy is a beautiful, gentle girl with a sweet heart and just the right amount of sass. She may be shy at first, but once she feels safe, she shows her love with head bumps, full-body rubs, and even the occasional kiss—always on her terms. She’s grown up with cats, kittens, and dogs of all sizes and would do best in a home with at least one friendly cat, as she loves to play and has never been alone. At night, Brandy turns into a cuddle bug and wants to be near her person—she may even protest if the bedroom door is closed.Brandy has a spicy side and knows what she likes, so she may not be the best fit for homes with very young children. She’s picky about wet food but loves Dr. Marty’s freeze-dried chicken kibble, uses the litter box perfectly, and has no litter preferences. Her cutest quirks? She wags her tail like a dog when she’s happy, has a soft “muuuu” meow, and is a professional cat-tree pole dancer.Looking for a playful, cuddly, slightly sassy companion? Brandy is ready to go home. 🐾🖤If you are interested in adopting please complete our online application: https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=lv2236&method=online_form_html&formid=43Adoption Fee is $100.00All kittens are fully vetted prior to being adopted, FVRCP, FeLV and Rabies Vaccines, FeLV / FIV Tested, Spayed / Neutered and Microchipped.

Khaleesi3 years old • Female • Short-haired torbie⏳ In rescue 648 daysKhaleesi is a stunning torbie with bold markings and an even bolder personality. She’s friendly but likes to take a little time to warm up—once she does, her affectionate side truly shines. She has a sassy streak and prefers affection on her own terms, so a home without small children would be best. When she decides it’s cuddle time, she’s happy to snuggle and will even sleep with you. One of her favorite spots is curled up with my roommate.Khaleesi gets along great with other cats, loves playtime, and is very comfortable around dogs of all sizes. She has excellent litter box habits and great manners at mealtime—she enjoys wet food morning and night, with dry food available for grazing.Looking for a confident, playful, affectionate cat with a little spice? Story
Every now and again we come across a cat who isn’t like other cats, a cat who doesn’t fit any of the molds and whose behavior leaves us puzzled. Peaches is a perfect example. She and several other outdoor cats had been hanging around a warehouse, scavenging for food. She was underweight, skittish and we knew it was only a matter of time before she became pregnant. One of our intrepid fosters felt compelled to help. She managed to trap her along with two other cats, Clementine and Mr. Apple, and introduced them to indoor living. While they have all made huge progress in adapting to their new life, Peaches is still a little wary around people but her body language suggests that, deep down, she really does want to trust them. She follows her foster mom around the house and she loves to play with toys. She will flip over on her back and expose her belly, but quickly recoil when anyone tries to pet her. Peaches enjoys playing games on the kitty iPad and she loves playing with her feline buddies. She’s just not quite ready for a touchy-feely relationship with a human. She is very food motivated and would probably be happiest in a home with one of her feline friends or another young cat. As she is not yet confident around people, she would do best in a calm home with experienced cat owners. For more information, please contact us at animaladvocatesofnorthtexas@ymail.com

Story
Hi! I'm Okko, a sweet 5 year old cat looking for a new home. I tend to keep to myself and be a lazy lady, but as soon as you pet me I will snuggle and stay with you as long as the gentle pets continue. I’ve never had an accident or issues with the litter box (even the robot ones) and no hairballs! I'm not super social, but will come greet company and let kind strangers hold and pet me. I like our golden retriever, but don't snuggle or play with him like my sister (Suki). My ideal home would have lots of cozy spots for me to snuggle into and nap, and open windows on beautiful days so I can enjoy the fresh air from indoors. I don't much like to get my nails trimmed but a treat will distract me pretty well during the process. I do claw at furniture and rugs, but otherwise I am a very good rule follower! I have been on a weight loss plan and will need some help continuing it to be at my vets ideal healthy weight.

Story
Hi! I am Suki, 5 years old, and on the lookout for a new family. I am very affectionate, preferring to follow my people around the home. I like to sleep at their feet and occasionally up at their face. I am very social, always the first one out to greet guests. I love attention from children and toddlers and can tolerate a fair bit of rough play and chasing from kids without reacting. I get along well with my cat siblings aside from the occasional tussle and chase, but my best bud is the golden retriever, I like to snooze against him or have him clean my ears. I’ve never had an accident or issues with the litter box (even the robot ones) and no hairballs! I will need some help with a weight loss routine, as I eat my siblings meals as well as my own. I don’t like being shut out of my people’s rooms at night and will cry and sometimes scratch at the door until it is opened. I do use a scratch pad, but also still like to paw furniture and rugs. I'm good with nail trimmings too!

Story
Huckleberry is a very sweet cat, with such a handsome face and tall! He’s slow to warm up but once he knows he’s safe with you he’s very sweet. He did better with us when he was allowed outside but he just wants to go out for 3 minutes, and stays very close. He doesn’t meow during the night but he is ready for his breakfast in the morning! Would do best with someone who could use an automatic feeder. Because of GI issues he gets a can of wet food each night. He does not like our closed litter robot but prefers an open top. He does well with other cats, he just wants to get along with everyone, happy to let the other cat have whatever they’d like, makes room for them. He has been good with my very young son, though prefers to avoid him, which might be best for everyone! Would do great with an older child. If the dog was good with cats then Huckleberry would do well with them. He’s a lover not a fighter! He’s older, but can run and jump with the best of them!
