Story
A neighbor saw his Dobermans acting crazy trying to get under his kayak where we discovered Kayak and her siblings (all newborns) back in July of 2017. We took on Kayak and nursed her and raised her while living in our apartment which was fine, however when we moved into our new home we learned she did not get along with other cats. We put her on the business side of our home (mother in law suite) where we'd have employees and customers in and out, which she did not like either. While we love her, we don't want her to suffer in an unhappy home for the remainder of her life. The ideal home for her is a single cat, relaxed home setting without a lot of transient (employees & customers) activity. She's been declawed on the front and has lived her life indoors. We are using this tool to keep from sending her to the shelter which we will need to do if we can't find her a home by 5/19/25. She is DEFINITELY an alpha cat and very CALICO.

Story
3yo, lightweight Calico girl is a gem – beautiful, regal, quirky, and soft. She was dumped on my street and I believe she could have the calcivirus meaning she should be the only cat. She does not like other cats and while you can pet her, it should be on her terms. Penny likes to be near you and sleep in the bed with you. She will let you know when she wants to be pet. She will sometimes lie down on my belly when I’m in bed but has only done this when I’m awake. She is funny when she gets the zoomies and can go from super adorable to rbf in 60 seconds. The only reason I want to find a home for her is that I have other cats so she’s stuck in my room and I’m sure she will be entertaining with her crazy playful antics if given the entire house or apartment as her domain. If you’d like to talk more about Penny, please contact me. Thank you.

ALL PETS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION ONLY TO RESIDENTS OF THE DALLAS/FT WORTH METROPLEX MEET AND GREET APPOINTMENTS SET UP WITH PRE-APPROVED APPLICATION ONLY Carmel has the cutest freckles on her nose which makes her dilute calico markings even more beautiful! She is sweet and friendly so it’s hard to believe someone left her behind. She took up residence outside a rescue friends sons apartment but after lots of searching for an owner it was determined she was homeless. Lucky for her she picked an apartment door where the resident loved kitties so she is enjoying being spoiled until she can find a new forever home! Story
Rosie is a sweet 4-yr-old kitty who loves to be around her people. She likes to follow you around and hang out with you. Her favorite past times include snoozing, eating, watching birds, squirrels, and rabbits out the window, and hanging out in the catio. She enjoys interactive play as well as batting around cat springs, rolling in catnip, and her kicker toys. Rosie likes her routine, especially when it comes to her eating schedule. She gets along with her sister; however, she would NOT do well with a new cat or dog to her. If you want two cats, she would love to be adopted with her sister (see photo), but Rosie will also do well as an only cat/pet. She thrives in a calmer, lower energy environment. Her sweetness will melt your heart. She’s looking for a peaceful owner who is home often and loves kitties. *Adoption fee includes toys, beds, food, litter box.

Story
Chanel (3 years old) and Serena (2 years old) are sweet, affectionate sisters and a bonded pair. They’ve grown up together and are deeply attached, so I would love to see them go to a home where they can stay together. They’re incredibly loving, curious, cuddly, and gentle and they’ve brought so much joy into my life. I’ll be including their Litter-Robot, their favorite toys, and anything else that makes their transition smoother. This decision hasn’t been easy. It’s not because of them, my allergies have become increasingly difficult to manage, and they deserve a home where they can be fully comfortable and loved without limitations. They’re special girls, and I just want to find the right person to love them the way I have.

Story
I found Kayleen as a stray about 4 years ago and took her in. She definitely independent and decides when she wants to cuddle and when she doesn. She has been around dogs, just ignores them, other cats, ignores them too but does not like them too try to play with her. She did not like the one toddler who visited but is great with my older parents. We don't know how old she is or what causes seizures she has. The vet has tried a couple different medications but they didn't help. Her seizures happen maybe once a month, sometimes less and occasionally more. When she has one, she does urinate. I recently found out I'm pregnant and a couple weeks prior to finding out, she started pooping outside the litter box. She still urinates in it though. She has also started to attack me, unprovoked. She has never done this before and it only happens to me. Because of her behavior changes, I can't keep her any longer. I've tried for 4 years to give her the life she deserves but can no more

Story
Theo is a handsome, affectionate boy we adopted from the Humane Society of North Texas. From the moment we brought him home, he’s been full of love, curiosity, and the occasional burst of hilarious zoomies. Whether he’s curling up in a sunny window, gently pawing for attention, or chasing his favorite toy mouse, Theo brings joy and charm to every room he enters. Theo is about 3 years old, healthy, neutered, litter box trained, and up to date on all his vaccinations. He gets along well with people and would thrive in a calm, loving environment. It breaks our hearts to part with him, but we’re expecting a baby soon and have realized that Theo’s high energy and playful nature might be a bit too much for our growing household. We want to give him the best chance at a home where he can continue to be his fun-loving, spirited self. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will melt your heart and warm your lap, Theo might just be your perfect match.

Story
Windy is on the older side, but she's super affectionate! She is a beautiful tuxedo cat who loves to be pet. She's up to date on all of her shots and has had a check-up in 2025. The vet says she's in great health for her age. Windy loves sitting in windowsills, checking out houseplants, and cuddling. She likes being with people and will join you on the couch, at the computer, in bed, or wherever you are. She also loves looking outside and enjoying the sunlight. Windy's perfect home would be: - Indoors - No dogs - Other cats okay - Older kids okay - Sunny places for her to sit We'll include an automatic feeder, a fuzzy pet bed, cat carrier, food, and all her toys. Unfortunately, we need to rehome both of our cats. Our other cat Cammy is listed here: https://www.adoptapet.com/pet/44169450-grapevine-texas-cat Please let me know if you're interested in both of them! We can send a cat condo and climbing tree if you take them both.

Story
Wednesday “Nessy” is about 7 years old. In October of 2019, I found her in a dumpster behind a bowling alley. She is incredibly sweet and mild tempered and well-loved by her family. She loves to cuddle up on your lap and sleep in your arms. Unfortunately, her brother cats started to become very aggressive with her when I became pregnant and following the birth of our daughter. We tried to give it time, but Wednesday no longer has a good quality of life in our home. She relegates herself to the corner of a closet and we have to put food and water and litter in there for her. She is afraid to come out because the boy cats corner and bully her. She doesn’t fight back and usually ends up needing one of her humans to rescue her. We hate to have to turn to this option but we’ve tried everything else that we can think of. We would like to see her in a calm and loving home, either as an only cat or with other calm cats or calm kids.
