Story
3yo, lightweight Calico girl is a gem – beautiful, regal, quirky, and soft. She was dumped on my street and I believe she could have the calcivirus meaning she should be the only cat. She does not like other cats and while you can pet her, it should be on her terms. Penny likes to be near you and sleep in the bed with you. She will let you know when she wants to be pet. She will sometimes lie down on my belly when I’m in bed but has only done this when I’m awake. She is funny when she gets the zoomies and can go from super adorable to rbf in 60 seconds. The only reason I want to find a home for her is that I have other cats so she’s stuck in my room and I’m sure she will be entertaining with her crazy playful antics if given the entire house or apartment as her domain. If you’d like to talk more about Penny, please contact me. Thank you.

Story
A neighbor saw his Dobermans acting crazy trying to get under his kayak where we discovered Kayak and her siblings (all newborns) back in July of 2017. We took on Kayak and nursed her and raised her while living in our apartment which was fine, however when we moved into our new home we learned she did not get along with other cats. We put her on the business side of our home (mother in law suite) where we'd have employees and customers in and out, which she did not like either. While we love her, we don't want her to suffer in an unhappy home for the remainder of her life. The ideal home for her is a single cat, relaxed home setting without a lot of transient (employees & customers) activity. She's been declawed on the front and has lived her life indoors. We are using this tool to keep from sending her to the shelter which we will need to do if we can't find her a home by 5/19/25. She is DEFINITELY an alpha cat and very CALICO.

Story
Hi, Iâ&#194&#128&#194&#153m Cali III, and Iâ&#194&#128&#194&#153m a female calico thatâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s about 6 years old 3 months. My eyes and fur are gold like the sun, bright orange with a hint of brown, and my black and white spots. I actually love the sun, I could sunbathe by a window all day. If Iâ&#194&#128&#194&#153m not sunbathing I can also sleep all day. When Iâ&#194&#128&#194&#153m not sleeping, Iâ&#194&#128&#194&#153m very active, I love to play with my toys and swing them around and pounce on them. I also like to chase lasers or strings, which if you pull up Iâ&#194&#128&#194&#153ll jump up into the air for. I also have a thing for bottle caps, those little flat ones from your water bottle, I love to fetch those. Iâ&#194&#128&#194&#153m super chill, Iâ&#194&#128&#194&#153m always finding a spot to just hang out and even if itâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s the sink or a box, if I fit I will sit. I eat regular food, but I also love tuna and treats and even some catnip now and then. Iâ&#194&#128&#194&#153ve had a long life with my fur mom, she adopted me at a few months old after being fostered from a shelter. However now my fur mom is having a human baby and I need a new home. I keep myself clean, you can also brush me and cut my nails without fuss. I am litter box trained, and I can communicate my needs with â&#194&#128&#194&#156meowsâ&#194&#128&#194&#157. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * If you have a specific question about Cali III, then please email newdigs@dallaspetsalive.org. Story
Meet Gracy! Gracy is a beautiful dilute tortie. She has absolutely stunning golden eyes and the cutest pink nose. Not to mention her marking are beautiful Gracy is sweet and gentle. She enjoys pets and quiet time. She would do best in a home that is quiet without a lot of activity and other pets. Gracy was born in a colony, she is the only survivor of her litter. She was initially going to be a TNR. However, she showed up wounded probably at the hands of a not nice human and her caretaker brought her in and got veterinary care. She decided that Gracy deserved in indoor loving home. Because of her past, Gracy is a little shy around new people, but is sweet when she gets to know you. Estimated DOB 2022 ************************************** Our adoption fees are $125 for one, $200 for 2, and cover the spay/neuter, age-appropriate shots, microchip, combo test, deworming, and collar and ID tag. We require our adopters are 21 years old or older, keep the cat inside only (unless on a leash/harness or in a catio), and do not declaw.
