Goober is an incredible four-year-old Cane Corso who is ready to find his next chapter with a family that will love him forever. Goober was found as a stray in the local area before being picked up by our officers. When he arrived, we quickly learned that behind his big size was an even bigger heart. This eighty-pound puddle of mush soaked up every bit of attention he could get. His little nub was constantly wiggling and dancing with excitement, and he happily greeted everyone with his big, sloppy Pittie—err, Corso kisses! Although his owner was located, unfortunately, they never came to reclaim him. Now Goober is looking for the family he truly deserves—a family that will appreciate what an amazing dog he is and give him the love and commitment he has been waiting for. Goober loves spending time with our staff and volunteers, and everyone has nothing but wonderful things to say about him. He walks beautifully on a leash, enjoys all the back scratches he can get, and loves being around his people. He also does great with other dogs and is always happy to make new friends. As a large and powerful breed, Goober is looking for a home that has the time, space, and dedication to meet his needs. While he is a gentle and docile boy, Cane Corsos thrive with structure, consistency, and confident leadership.
