He’s toothless (don’t worry—it doesn’t slow him down one bit!) and extremely people-oriented once he feels safe. Pick him up and cradle him like a baby? Yes please. He’ll melt right into your arms and purr away until you decide cuddle time is over. This little guy lives for love and attention. He enjoys flopping onto the floor to show off his belly and soak up pets, and he’s never shy about asking for affection. Catori has a great appetite and is highly motivated by food, which makes him both easy to bond with and fun to spoil. Playtime is one of his favorite things, especially with other confident, outgoing cats. He may be a bit too enthusiastic for a shy feline friend, but he thrives with cats who can match his energy. She had a litter of four healthy kittens in April and was a very attentive mother. But now it’s her turn. She is warm and affectionate and surprisingly very quiet. She loves long sessions of cuddling on your lap, making biscuits and purring and she'll let you know when she's done. She likes to climb and be above the floor. She needs to be an only pet please and older kids only. While she is a big love, she isn’t very tolerant of younger children. She wanted us to mention, that she would appreciate a cat tree or two. Smokey girl deserves the best life!! She has not been exposed to dogs. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Mellow truly lives up to his name, from car rides to playtime, he always has a sweet and calm demeanor. He is very smart and a little clingy. He loves people and frequently turns on his back for belly rubs. Just be sure not to rub his belly for more than a couple seconds, he's sensitive about it sometimes. Sadly, we lost Dynamite (his brother) to kidney failure. It came on very sudden and despite getting him to Wilson's Veterinary Hospital quickly, he was unable to recover and lost the battle. We are hopeful that Mellow will be adopted to an awesome family who can help to soothe his broken heart! Mellow will be 11 years old this month and still loves to play with toys but won't exhaust you like a kitten would. 20 minutes a day of play is more than enough for him. He also loves being brushed - he purrs and tumbles onto his back to give you better space to brush him. His beautiful, all orange coat and green eyes simply add to his appeal. He will come to greet you when you come home. Mellow is a very goofy and amusing cat as you can see in his videos. He is especially treat motivated. His foster mom was able to teach him to jump on the cat tree with treats! You will likely be able to train him as he's quite smart for a cat. He is not fooled by the laser pointer, unlike his brother! He was bonded with his brother Dynamite and and will miss him, so he may need help to fill the void left by his brother's passing. Mellow loves to watch the birds out the window. His foster home has a bird feeder right outside the window and his cat tree next to it. Mellow will come with many of his favorite things, his cat tree, litter boxes, plates, toys, treats. His foster parents are willing to zoom call or meet with you if you want to see him. He would do best in a house with no dogs. All of our cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped, tested for FIV/FELV , and up to date on vaccinations including rabies, distemper, and de-wormer. He used to live with a family but was left behind when they moved. Instead of giving up, Arnie became a legend. He avoided traps for years, walking around like he knew the city belonged to him. Eventually he decided he was ready for luxury, stepped into the trap on his own terms, and moved indoors. Now he lives like royalty and has no interest in returning to the outside world. Soft beds, warm naps, window thrones, maybe a cape during special occasions. Arnie has embraced it all. He loves people and does great with kids. He also lives peacefully with other cats and seems to enjoy being part of a feline court. Dogs, however, are strictly not welcome. Arnie says no. He will need a dog-free home. Arnie is a big, handsome brown tabby with giant white paws and a calm, confident energy.
