Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Smudge was found at a gas station back in the summer, and adopted by me in November. He was very scared and skittish in the shelter, but after being brought home has shown a personality unlike any other. He is very loving, but also unfortunately not a great cat for a first time cat owner and I’ve found myself to be out of my league in caring for him. My vet recommended trying to rehome to an experienced cat owner that may be able to manage his behavioral quirks better. He does show signs of aggression at times, but both me and my vet think this is due to the fact that he simply needs a bigger home with another cat to play with.

Story
We've had Ruby since she was a kitten. She was a stray and came with her sister, and joined our Labrador. She's a sweet little girl who loves people, other cats, and dogs. She's cool chillin at home but will also go outside and tour the neighborhood, looking for friendly people and other pets. She loves her little cat bed but also loves sleeping in the bed with whoever will have her. She really loved our old dog (we think she thought he was her parent) and followed him everywhere, but now he and her sister are gone. We recently got a puppy and because the puppy chases her everywhere, she's stressed out and her quality of life isn't great at the moment. The only difficulty with Ruby is that she will pee on clothes, towels or bags that are left on the floor, so she needs a neat owner. She is litter box trained and never has a problem there, and she often goes to the bathroom outside, esp in warmer weather. Ruby will thrive in a home with a person or family that can give her lots of love.

Not good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Luna was purchased in New York City close to an animal hospital when she was only weeks old. She is now 3 and 1/2. She has been a sole pet until July, 2025 when we acquired another kitten. She has not taken to the new kitten and feels that her territory is being invaded despite all our efforts to acclimatize her to the new kitten. We travel a lot so the premise was to have a friend for Luna when we are not home. This effort backfired and Luna probably needs to be on her own. Luna is a very independent and feisty cat. She is lively, playful and enjoys being in the company of her owners; in the same room. She will gladly jump and seek attention but will not remain in one's lap for a long time. She, like most cats, enjoys a bit of human contact and attention every day but not too much. She is a joy to have around and is a beautiful animal. Parting with her will be most difficult but we just feel that it is the best thing to do considering the uptick in our travel schedule.

Story
I adopted Bonnie in October of 2020 when she was 10 weeks old. I have thoroughly enjoyed watching her grow and mature over the years. She is a sweet, funny, lovey cat. She loves to cuddle and play, and is good with children. I am moving across the country and can’t take her with me which breaks my heart. I just want her to go to a good home!!

Story
When Wendy first arrived at our shelter, she was terrified—we couldn’t even get close to her without her lunging in fear. But with lots of time, patience, and TLC, this sweet girl has done a complete 360 and is finally showing us her true, gentle self. Wendy is now longing for a quiet, loving home to call her own. She has previously lived with other cats, including Skinny (also available at our shelter), so we believe that with a slow, proper introduction, she could do well in a multi-cat home. This brave girl has come such a long way. Now she just needs someone who will give her the safe space and love she’s been waiting for. February 25, 2026, 12:42 pm

Story
Meet Archie After a long quarantine here at our shelter, Archie is finally ready to find his forever home. This handsome former street cat has come such a long way—thanks to lots of patience, kindness, and TLC, he’s blossomed into a total mush with a heart of gold. Archie is looking for an adopter who has experience with cats and understands that every feline has their own style of affection. He isn’t a lap cat and doesn’t like being picked up, but he does enjoy gentle companionship, quiet moments, and showing love on his own terms. This charming boy would thrive in a calm, loving home where he can lounge around, feel safe, and finally claim a cozy spot to call his own. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will make your home feel complete—Archie just might be your guy. February 17, 2026, 10:36 am
