Story
Jax is a loving cat. He’s very cuddly and friendly to known and unfamiliar faces. He loves to eat and lounge. However, there are a few things of note before consideration. He can be very vocal (meow) at times and the hour can vary. He does scratch furniture although there are scratch pads accessible. He will get on counters and kitchen table and lay although he has been redirected since a kitten. He loves to be very close with his caretaker and will want to sleep on your bed. He’s currently a little overweight and needs weight management. I haven’t been too successful due to him living with two other cats. He currently eats Acana dry cat food which is more on the expensive side. I buy 10lb bags for around $42 each. He is now due for a rabies shot and all other required vaccinations. I will not be getting him vaccinated which is why I’m not charging a fee for the adoption. As I receive applications I will reach out to discuss all details further. Thank you!

Story
I have had my Gizmo since he was a kitten. He has always been an indoor cat and I hope he will remain one forever. He will be 11 in February and is up to date on all vaccines besides his rabie shot. He was supposed to get it in April, but I lost my job in March. I take him to the vet yearly for a physical and routine vaccines. I have all medical records for him. He can be grumpy, but enjoys to eat, sleep, and relax. He eats Purina Beyond chicken dry food and Sheba wet food once a day. He loves pets under his chin, but nowhere else. I love Gizmo very much, but I am currently homeless and can no longer keep him where he is staying.

Story
Someone heard me crying on their porch. I was hoping to be heard for I was hungry and cold. I was brought inside but did not get along with the family pets. I was brought to the shelter for safety and to find a forever home. It is estimated that I am about 3 years old. I am quiet in my cage as I catch up on lost sleep. A person with cat experience will be helpful for me, as it is not known how long I have been on my own. And I cannot talk to where I have been and why I was out on my own during this cold winter. I am hoping that there is a family who has been waiting for a handsome cat like me. For information about me and/or the adoption process email ds4paws@hotmail.com or call Rob at the shelter 508 822 1463. An approved adoption application is required to bring me home.
