Hi! My name's Oscar and I'm a handsome smooth coat miniature dachshund. I'm about 4 years old and weigh 10 pounds. I am such a sweet boy and I'm very calm and patient. I love to be pet, snuggled, and to give kisses! Cuddling on the couch is the best! My foster mom says I'm a daper gentleman, and she's impressed that I don't get nervous with changes in my environment.I get along with everyone--other dogs (big, small, obnoxious, I love them all!), cats, kids, men and women. I absolutely love kids. When they kneel down to say hi, I like to give them little kisses. I'm very food motivated, so training with treats is a sure way to get my attention! Petfinder lists our pets as ''Out of Town'' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it.
