Lucy is more of a typical ween. Growly and barky and not very trusting of people yet, but she is absolutely gorgeous. She seems to like Fig Newton a lot. She needs another dog for sure. One that likes to cuddle and needs a friend. It would be best if her and Newt could go together but that’s not a requirement. We don’t believe they are bonded, but they don’t ever leave each others side. Not potty trained, but will go on a pee pad. Kennel trained. Probably shouldn’t be with kids until she is more comfortable and trusting of people.

Meet Polly! Sweet Polly is a mini long haired dachshund that weighs about 12 pounds. She was a breeder surrender who has spent her whole life having puppies. Polly is about 4 years old and is the biggest snuggle bug ever! She is very low energy and would be more than happy to just sit in her persons lap all day long. Polly gets along well with other low energy dogs but would be fine being the only dog as well.The perfect home for Polly would be one with someone who is home all day. She really hates to be left alone. She is crated currently when her foster leaves but does not care for it so she is very vocal about it,so an apartment would not be a good fit. Franklin is a Dachshund/Terrier mix that's about 3 years old and weighs 24lbs. He was found living on the streets as a stray and is learning quickly how great it is to live in a house! Franklin is good with other dogs, but he's a bit wary of humans at first. He warms up to women right away, but takes his time getting to know men. Once he trusts you though, you've got a friend for life. Franklin will follow you anywhere and everywhere!Franklin is a very loving boy and is working hard on all his training so that he can be the best dog he can be. His biggest goals right now are to finish his potty training (he's so close!) and to learn to stay calm and relaxed in his kennel. He's full of life and a little silly, so after working on his training he loves playing, belly rubs, and snuggles.Franklin had a rough start to life but that hasn't stopped him from being a wonderful, faithful companion.
