Story
Meet Hercules!Hercules is a wonderful 5 year old dachshund with a zest for life! Hercules is not only neutered and has completed heartworm treatment, but he is a pro at housetraining and crate training. With a big personality to match his big heart, Hercules is always ready for an adventure. However, he is a bit of an escape artist and climber and would do best in a home with a stay at home parent to keep him company and give him the attention he craves. He gets along very well with his two foster sisters, but can be a bit dog selective. He is super reliable inside in terms of housetraining if let out every 2-3 hours, and will be most successful in a home that has a secure backyard. If you are looking for loyal companion who will keep you on your toes, Hercules is the one for you!To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn't obligate you, but it is the first step. We don't get to all of the inquiries but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!

Story
Meet Quinnt! Quinnt is a precious soul, overflowing with sweetness and affection. Initially shy, he may seek refuge under the bed, likely a result of being confined to a crate for much of his life. The great outdoors is a new and unfamiliar territory for him, as grass is a novelty he's yet to fully understand. However, he's been diligently using the potty pads provided, showing a willingness to learn and adapt.Despite his past, Quinnt has a gentle spirit and gets along famously with his fosters resident dog. Not one to disturb the peace, he's remarkably quiet and has a tranquil presence. At just 2 years old, Quinnt's journey to a happy life started when he was surrendered by a breeder. Upon his arrival at the rescue, a heart-wrenching discovery was made-zip ties had been used on his legs for identification, a practice no longer part of his new, loving life.To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn't obligate you, but it is the first step. Story
Meet Dobby! Dobby is the sweetest 3 month puppy ever! He is up for playing anytime, but also likes to snuggle and sleep. He is very gentle with playing, but he also doesn't realize his puppy teeth are so sharp. He is crate trained at night (for the entire night!!) and goes outside for potty time at regular intervals. As long as he gets to go out during the day every 3-4 hours, he doesn't have any accidents in the house. He does not chew on non-dog items, which is always a bonus! He most loves to be with his humans or another puppy that likes to play. He is not too sure about a collar and leash on walks, but he knows he loves going for walks and follows another dog well. His new family is going to be soooo lucky to adopt him.To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn't obligate you, but it is the first step. Story
Meet Oliver! Oliver is a gorgeous little dachshund. He is about 20lbs and around 8 years old. Potty and crate trained. He is pretty calm and laid back. Such a low-energy dog. He loves treat. Food is his favorite. He can be pretty protective if it's comes about his food. He loves being inside the crate. He can spend the whole day there, but will come out for potty and of course...food. He is not really a fan of being outdoor. He is okay with other dogs, and ignore cats. But he's not the type of dog that like to socialize. He's hoping to find his forever home and to be your lovely companion. To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn't obligate you, but it is the first step.
