Story
Scooby is a good dog. He's great with kids. He's friendly and a little lazy at times, but he still enjoys physical activity and a good walk. He's a foodie and not a picky eater at all. He'll eat dog food, he'll eat your food, too, which is why we named him Scooby. I've trained him to go to his crate with claps. He knows how to jump on your lap, either sitting or standing up, when you tap your thighs. He'll go to the backyard door with enough practice and claps. He's a good dog that won't pee unless he doesn't have a chance to go outside. He's learnt to go to the bathroom at 6 to 7 am and 5 to 6 pm.

Story
Meet Roo 🌟🌭 DOB: 10/2025 | 9 lbs of dachshund chaos and charm If you've ever thought, "I wish I had a tiny best friend who follows me everywhere and keeps life interesting," Roo would like to submit his application. Roo is a young Double Dapple Dachshund with a big personality packed into a very small package. He's curious, playful, affectionate, and fully committed to being involved in absolutely everything you're doing. Bathroom trip? Roo's coming. Making coffee? Roo's supervising. Sitting on the couch? Roo has already claimed a spot. Roo came to NTASR as an owner surrender and is now fully vetted, healthy, and ready to find a family of his own. Because Roo is a Double Dapple, he has vision impairment in his right eye, likely related to his genetics. Double Dapple Dachshunds are the dachshund equivalent of Double Merle dogs. When two dapple dogs are bred together, puppies can be born with vision and hearing impairments. He navigates the world like a champ, plays, explores, cuddles, and enjoys life exactly as a puppy should. He may occasionally need a little extra guidance in new environments, but his vision impairment doesn't stop him from being a happy, adventurous little guy. Roo's ideal home will be with people who understand and appreciate dachshunds, including their big opinions, clever minds, and occasional determination to do things their own way. Dachshund experience isn't required, but a family willing to learn about the breed and Roo's unique needs will set everyone up for success. The highlights: ✔️ Fully vetted ✔️ Tiny and portable ✔️ Affectionate and people oriented ✔️ Playful and curious ✔️ Vision impairment in right eye, but thriving ✔️ Ready for his forever home Roo has already had a few bumps in the road during his first year of life. We'd love for the rest of his story to be much simpler: a comfy bed, a family who adores him, and a lifetime of adventures. If you're looking for a little dog with a huge heart, Roo is ready to meet you 💙🐾

Story
Meet Auggie – He is a spirited, 7 month old herding mix weighing in at 17 pounds of pure personality. He’s fully house and crate-trained, and he’s been working hard on his basic manners—he already knows “sit,” “down,” and “paw.” This little guy thrives with a patient person who can give him some time to decompress and build trust. Slow introductions to new people are a must, but once you’re “his person,” he’ll be your constant shadow—and might even share his prized toys with you. Auggie has plenty of energy and loves outdoor play, especially chasing his oversized tennis ball or engaging in a good game of tug-of-war. Because of his high energy level, he’s not a great fit for apartment living. He can also be a bit particular about his belongings, so we recommend a home with no children. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will reward your patience with endless love, laughter, and fetch sessions, Auggie just might be your perfect match! If you are interested in meeting Auggie please fil out an application here:https://form.jotform.com/FWAAA/fwaaa-adoption-application
