When two dapple dogs are bred together, puppies can be born with vision and hearing impairments. He may occasionally need a little extra guidance in new environments, but his vision impairment doesn't stop him from being a happy, adventurous little guy. Nala is a 14-year old (05/23/2012) miniature dachshund who is in need of a loving home as she grows older, as her needs cannot be met in her current one. She is prone to anxiety, but loves to be near to people and cuddle all the time. She was adopted from a dachshund breeder as a puppy and has been a family dog her whole life and is very loving. She likes to nap for most of the day, but still enjoys racing people, exploring outside, and playing with toys. Since she is a senior, she has a bad back and would need owners who will be careful with her and make sure she is comfortable. She gets along with other dogs of any size and older children. She is an adorable sweetheart you will fall in love with in no time.
