Story
Meet Dobby! Dobby is the sweetest 3 month puppy ever! He is up for playing anytime, but also likes to snuggle and sleep. He is very gentle with playing, but he also doesn't realize his puppy teeth are so sharp. He is crate trained at night (for the entire night!!) and goes outside for potty time at regular intervals. As long as he gets to go out during the day every 3-4 hours, he doesn't have any accidents in the house. He does not chew on non-dog items, which is always a bonus! He most loves to be with his humans or another puppy that likes to play. He is not too sure about a collar and leash on walks, but he knows he loves going for walks and follows another dog well. His new family is going to be soooo lucky to adopt him.To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn't obligate you, but it is the first step. We don't get to all of the inquiries but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!

Story
Meet Oliver! Oliver is a gorgeous little dachshund. He is about 20lbs and around 8 years old. Potty and crate trained. He is pretty calm and laid back. Such a low-energy dog. He loves treat. Food is his favorite. He can be pretty protective if it's comes about his food. He loves being inside the crate. He can spend the whole day there, but will come out for potty and of course...food. He is not really a fan of being outdoor. He is okay with other dogs, and ignore cats. But he's not the type of dog that like to socialize. He's hoping to find his forever home and to be your lovely companion. To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn't obligate you, but it is the first step. Story
Buster is the sweetest little guy!! He is fully vetted, heartworm negative and microchipped. He weighs approximately 24 pounds and 10 years old. Buster is great with other dogs, loves to nap and enjoys lounging in a human lap. He is house broken for the most part, though will tend to "mark" if another male dog goes potty in the house. Buster would be perfect for a retired couple, or someone who is home most of the time, as he really does love companionship, or even another dog in the home whom he can snuggle with! If interested in adopting Buster, please fill out our adoption application online: www.salvagedsoulspetrescue.org.

Story
Get ready, because we’re about to mix things up with an adorable pug imposter! Three-year-old Nellie is a happy, affectionate, and playful dachshund with a beautiful coat of wavy fur. Dachshunds were originally bred for hunting, and Nellie makes her ancestors proud by chasing rabbits and squirrels in her foster family’s backyard. When she’s not on patrolling the yard for furry friends, Nellie’s favorite activities include playing with other dogs, chasing after toys, going for occasional walks, wolfing down her meals, and using her long snout to try and sneak food from people or other dogs. She also enjoys sleeping in bed next to her humans at night, trying to hijack the family pillows before eventually curling up at the foot of the bed. We think that Nellie would thrive in a home with cuddly and attentive humans who have a backyard that she can scan for woodland creatures; because she has a prey drive, a home with cats would likely not be suitable for her. If you’re open to a friendly, social gal with a longer snout, we’d love to introduce you to Nellie! Apply for her at dfwpugs.com.

Meet Clark! Clark is a 5 year old, chunky dachshund mix. He is very energetic and loves to play. He is good with other dogs (big and small) but is very curious about cats and will chase them. He prefers to be fed alone. He is potty and crate trained. His foster mama calls him “Clarky Barky” because he likes to bark at the intruders (Amazon delivery drivers). He does well on a leash but prefers roaming free in the backyard. Interested in meeting Clark? Fill out an application! Application available at https://www.pawsofloverescue.com/adoption-application. Adoption donation of $295 includes spay, microchip, deworming, dhpp vaccinations, rabies shot, bordetella nose spray and any other necessary procedures prior to adoption. Dallas/Ft. Worth AreaApplications can be found online at www.pawsofloverescue.com, under the adopt tab.  We require an approved application before a meet and greet is set up.  April 25, 2024, 11:21 pm
