Ruby is a good family dog and thrives at home. She is 6yo and weighs approx 40lbs. She is an inside dog but likes some outside time. A fenced yard is a must (she’s a runner) she also does well on a leash. She loves kids and all her people. She is house broken and knows basic commands. She is spayed and up to date on all her vaccinations and takes a monthly flea preventative. Ruby is protective and territorial. She does not like deliveries (delivery trucks or drivers). She does not do well in public places where other dogs are present.

Story
We got Samson from a Pensacola shelter for our daughter who is now too busy to care for him. Samson, lab mix, approximately 3 years old, neutered, gentle, sweet, cuddlebug, loves people, and loves other dogs. Fully vaccinated on monthly flea tick and heart worm meds. House & potty trained. Samson tested positive for heartworm when we got him. We’ve treated him with doxycycline twice as directed by Vet along with monthly advantage multi. He was restested June and it is faintly positive. He is to do another round of doxycycline in September and then be retested in March 2027. We will provide the doxycycline. Per our vet this starves the heartworms while allowing the dog to behave normally (no activity restrictions). He shows no physical symptoms.

Story
Pancho is the sweetest dog ever, doesn’t have one mean bone in his body. I have very young children and I’ve never met a dog so gentle and careful with them. He doesn’t bark except in actual defensive of home and yard (not just because someone walks by but if someone is breaking in or other dogs attacking). He has never had an accident in my house, never chewed anything. He’s crate trained but I fully trust him to be inside without getting into anything. He is in so many ways the perfect dog.He is scared of thunder storms and likes to wear his special vest that keeps him calm. He would do great with someone who wants a best friend, someone who will relax on the couch with him. He does also love the water and going on hikes/walks but he is extremely flexible and not needy. He will come with his collar, rest of his dog food, bowls, vest, any toys and anything else we have. We are willing to drive to deliver him a certain distance too. We just want him to have the best home!

Collie Corgi

Female, Adult
Elberta, AL
Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Not good with cats, House-trained,
Story
her name is lizzo, she’s a corgi-border collie mix. She had shots when she was a puppy, she’s 4 years old. She is not fixed but I am willing to pay for it if she needs to be fixed. She’s just a sweet, energetic, lovable little mut. She is very well behaved and well mannered, she is trained with verbal commands as well as hand commands. If I snap my finger, she instantly runs right to you. She does well on a leash, she loves other people and kids. She plays well with other dogs after she has had time to get used to them, she does not like other dogs around the house because she is very territorial over me and my stuff. She is the smartest girl in the world and can learn anything, she does not do well with small animals, she plays with them a little too hard.🤣 she is completely house broken, she WILL not get into the trash. One time I left a bag of trash on her bed all day by accident and when I got home 12hrs later she was laying in the floor next to it and never touched it.

Over the past several weeks, we've learned so much about her: Birthday: 11/25/2024 House trained (not a single accident!) ️ Crate trained Great with other dogs ️ No food aggression Friendly with children who visit our home Calm around cats we've encountered on walks Loves playing with her foster sister, Jazze Learning basic commands and leash manners (currently walking with a Gentle Leader) ❤️ Vet checked, heartworm negative, microchipped, vaccinated, and spayed Mars is affectionate, playful, eager to learn, and has been an absolute joy to foster. She has a sweet personality and so much love to give. She would make a wonderful companion for a family looking for a loyal best friend. Please share this post, and let me know if you or someone you know would like to meet Mars. She deserves a safe, loving forever home where she'll never have to wonder where her next meal is coming from or sleep alone on the streets again.
