Story
We picked up Agatha (Aggie) and Sophie at a shelter. They were about three months old and had been left by the side of the road. We figured whoever was trying to sell them couldn't, since Aggie has white spots and mixed colors in her coat, and Sophie has a dew claw on one back leg. They seem to be mixed Labrador with Pyrenees (apparently called Labrenese or Pyradors), so their coats are a little longer. They will be 7-years-old in July, and we've had them the whole time. I've hiked with them off-leash, we throw ball, swim, or go anywhere in the car. I seem to get more and more busy, and am gone more than I have been in previous years. Aggie is sweet, cuddly, needy (afraid of loud noises and tile floors), and LOVES her squeaky ball. She will swim if necessary, but prefers (and loves) water where she can reach. She comes with a life-vest if you want to take her swimming.

Story
Same background story as Aggie's. When we separated them for a couple of weeks, Aggie was very stressed, and Sophie was depressed. Both are divas, so if they end up separated, as long as they get lots of attention, and Aggie is outside a lot, they should be fine, but I'm hoping they stay together, if possible. Sophie is the dominate dog, and the instigator. She also steals Aggie's bones, so you have to stay nearby so Aggie doesn't end up with nothing. Sophie loves to swim for the ball. Sophie acts like she's better than all the dogs and prefers to play fetch (preferably a tennis ball), ignoring all of the other dogs. She will make friends, but she seems to be selective about her playmates. Sophie seems to be the more intelligent of the two and understands her role well. She's easier to walk without a leash, understands expectations, wants to be where you are, and wants all of your attention. She also tends to stay on a regular poop schedule.

Story
Rowan is 3 years old and has spent most of his life waiting for his forever home. He always has a big smile on his face. Rowan loves to play with all dogs and doesn't bother the cats in his foster home. Before coming to Sweet Home Animal Rescue he spent a year in an outdoor kennel at the shelter. Now he has almost been in our care for 1 year. Rowan deserves to have a family of his own. He does well on leash, would love to snuggle, and is great around children of all ages. His ideal home is an active household that would allow him to take part in their adventures. *All adoptable animals have been spayed/neutered, received age-appropriate vaccines, heartworm tested (when age-appropriate), microchipped, vet checked, dewormed, and kept on monthly preventatives while in our care. **All adoptables are listed as not housebroken. It is common for dogs/cats to have accidents when adjusting to a new home and schedule.

Story
Hi, my names Amara, I am 8 years old. For 8 years now I've lived with a wonderful family of 5, 3 kids, 2 adults and my fur siblings, a male Sheppard & my older sister who's a female Doberman. One day I attacked and grew aggressive towards my old sister Doberman whom I had grown up with and lived with for years. I am a lovely family dog, I'm great with kids of all ages, my human siblings are 10, 8 & 6, I've grown with them since they were 4, 2 and 12 months old. since I no longer get along with my fur sister I desperately need a new home with someone experienced in my breed that has no other animals. I may or may not be OK with just male dogs but I know I'm for sure not ok with female dogs, because I am the alpha. I listen so well and can even walk on or off a leash, I always stay with my human parents when we walk I also pay no attention to other dogs when I'm on my walks. Please adop Me, I desperately need a new home.

Story
Walker came to us heartworm positive and weighing only 92lbs. He completed his heartworm fast kill treatment over 11 weeks ago, now weighs around 130lbs and is around 3 years old. No further action is required for his heartworm treatment. He is able to enjoy life just like any other dog. Walker adores playing with other dogs, following his person everywhere, and a good snuggle. He loves to run in the backyard and get all his dane zoomies out. He does well on a leash, doesn't love a car ride but does fine once he is in the car and he is calm when meeting new people.
