Story
Ellie is an awesome 10 month old puppy/dog. However she is more dog than my husband and I can handle. We have health issues that prevent us from being able to interact with her a lot. She had lessons with a trainer and once she gets over the initial excitement of playing with you she will follow some commands. She loves Milo’s kitchen dog treats and will do ANYTHING for one 😊 We want her to go to a family that is familiar with labs and understands them as a breed. Who will love her as part of the family taking care of her in a way she deserves. She is a white English Labrador ,akc with limited registration, however we didn’t bother with getting her papers because we only wanted a pet. I have a notebook with all her information, pictures of her sire and training notes from her trainer that will go with her. You can use the notes to refresh her training and move forward from there if you like.

Story
Mo was only a few weeks old when I adopted her. She wasn't in her mom's care even at that young age. She was the runt of the litter and very active from the get go. She definitely needs an experienced adopter as she has so much energy and ready to GO. She is a loyal baby once you have her trust, but she can be a lot if you have a busy schedule. She wants her human at all times and prefers to be out with you to play with her. Working from home is definitely ideal, but she has learned to be crated for long hours while away if needed. She's the best baby and I want the best for her, she just needs someone who is really experienced with her breed and energy.

Story
Mo was my first pup ever. She was separated from her mother weeks before she was supposed to be separated, and I believe that as well as her being an only child contributes to behavioral issues. She is the most loyal and kindest pup, but she needs someone super experienced with this breed and lots of space in house and outside to roam and play.

Turk

Rat Terrier

Male, Adult
Mobile, AL
Size
(when grown) Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less
Details
Good with dogs, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
- TURK - NM albino (OCA4) Rat Terrier who is 4-5yo and 21lbs Strengths: crate-trained, was previously house-trained to a dog door, no issues with female dogs, typical busy Terrier personality but not driven enough for any sports, HW-, no allergies/sensitivities, good for general handling/husbandry Weaknesses: not outright same-sex aggressive but picky about his male friends and does better with neutered male dogs who aren't significantly larger than himself, only known medical defect is light-sensitivity/less than perfect vision (definitely not blind), poor vision does lead to some quirky behavior around going in/out doors due to light differences and he is a little rude behaviorally because he tends to crowd up into new dogs' faces onmeeting which can lead to misunderstandings of body language; in general a stable dog once he is secure in his environment and acclimated to the individuals around him

Story
Originally a rescue from a family member’s farm, Waylon is the sweetest boy but was never meant to be a permanent member of the family. He’s grown up with big and small dogs for the 2 years we’ve had him and is good with everyone. Ideally he needs a large outdoor space to roam and run, or someone with the time for all the outdoor activities. He’s fixed and up to date on all vaccines.
