Cosmo is apart of a litter of 11 our female had two years ago. We were able to find forever homes for most but still have 6 of the puppies we need to find families for. Cosmo is our energetic adventurer and loves to explore. She loves to jump and "talk" at you when she is feeling extra excited. She does get along well with her littermates but hasn't really been around other dogs. She doesn't really like cats but has never shown any aggression. She loves to cuddle and play in water.

Story
Meet Yank. He’s 9 pounds, 8 months old, and a Parson Russel Terrier Mix. At 15 weeks old, Yank had a hole in his mouth and burns on his lips. He had bruising, extreme inflammation, deep cuts and two holes around his muzzle. Someone put a rubber band on Yank’s mouth and left it there to cause these injuries. Additionally, from the band being tight, it played havoc on his teeth. His cheeks rubbing on them caused his gums to wear away. All of this before he was 15 weeks old. Now? This boy is perfect. He has healed which took a while but he’s playful, loves friends, runs like crazy, plays with toys and is happy on your lap. It’d be great if Yank had a friend around his size because he loves to play and wrestle. Yank is looking for his perfect family now. Contact us at medicalanimalsinneed@gmail.com with any questions or go to medicalanimalsinneed.com and fill out our adoption application. Yank is up to date on shots, is microchipped, and has been neutered. His adoption fee is $300.

Story
Trixie is a loving, silly young dog, who will be two this year. She is great with adults, kids and other dogs and loves to give hugs. She has a lot of personality and energy and needs a home where she can run around. She is sweet, smart and very trainable. She is potty trained, no food aggression or aggression at all really. Unfortunately, where my son moved does not allow dogs and I travel a lot and feel She deserves a home where someone can be home more often and give her all the attention she deserves. She is a great dog!

Story
Hi, I'm Penny! I'm a 2 year old Chihuahua mix. I even have a DNA profile. My foster mother thinks I had a good home at one time. Then someone rehomed me on social media. I don't know what happened, but I found myself on the kill list at animal control for being scared. Who wouldn't be? My foster mother brought me to her house. Within a few days, I was snuggling in her lap and learned to be safe and trust again. I love playing in her yard with her other dogs. I run like a little gazelle! I am spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, vet checked, and I even have normal blood work. I weigh almost 10 pounds. I am available for adoption with Medical Animals In Need (M.A.I.N.). I need a safe yard to run in and a doggy playmate would be excellent. Most of all, I need a family who understands my experience and will be patient and loving. For more information, or if you might be a good fit for Penny, please go to medicalanimalsinneed.com and fill out the application. Thanks!

Story
DOB: 2/11/2022Breed: Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier mix-Neutered Male 50lbs-Microchipped & fully vaccinated-Negative for heartworm & tick-borne diseases, and on a monthly preventative*Adoption Fee $300*A little bit about me… Hey there! I’m Alfred. I know I might not make the best first impression from inside my kennel. This has been my “home” for a long time, and I can come off a little strong when meeting new people. Please don’t let that stop you from getting to know me! I just take a little time building trust, but once you’re in, you’re in for life. I tend to warm up to women a little faster, but no matter who you are, if you give me a chance, I’ll show you my sweet and loyal side. I love going on long walks and playing fetch. Give me a long-lasting chew toy or a bone, and I’ll be the happiest pup around. I’ve spent most of my life waiting for my person. Could it be you? The highlights…-Guardian at heart-I display clean kennel behavior -I’d make a great hiking buddy-Very devoted to my peopleMy ideal home would include…-Patience is key. I may take time to adjust to a new home environment. Time, consistency, and positive reinforcement will help me as I learn.-Ongoing training and socialization. After spending most of my time in a shelter, I will have gaps in my social skills with people and other animals. Structed training, firm leadership, and controlled introductions to new situations will be essential.-Exercise and mental stimulation. Dogs with limited past experiences often have pent-up energy and curiosity. Regular exercise, enrichment activities, and structured routine will help me thrive
