Story
Hi, I’m Leon! I’m a 3.5 year old Shar Pei Pit Mix who LOVES people and play-time. I’ll take belly rubs for days and I’m great around new people. I also adore toys! I carry my squirrel with me everywhere I go. I’ll bring it over to you when I want to play keep-away or tug of war (I’m gentle but strong!). As long as I’ve got a durable chew toy nearby I’m pretty good at entertaining myself, too. Occasionally, I need a reminder of what’s a toy and what’s not, but help me decipher between them and I learn fast! I’m crate-trained, house-trained and great with a doggy door. I know sit, shake, lay, and I’ve been taught to stay off the bed (unless of course you want me up there… I’ll happily cuddle up next to you all night). I’m great on car rides and love going for walks, though I’m still learning this whole leash thing. I get a little distracted by all the birds and new smells (who doesn’t?), but I’m getting much better at it with time. If you’re introducing another pet, be cautious – I can get defensive over my space. My fosters have the feeling I really just want to play and that with the right training, I’ll be fine. I’ve had a few short, on-leash introductions, but you can tell I’m not totally comfortable yet, so a household without cats, dogs or other small pets would be best for me. I have been fully vetted, vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered. I have checked out super healthy! Like most of my kind, I do have some skin allergies that may need occasional medical attention. Just take me in for regular vet visits and they should be able to give me the care I need. Apply to meet me using the link below. I know I'll fall in love with you...it's what I do...I just hope my perfect family falls in love with me too! To learn more and apply to adopt, go to lovethemALLrescue.org/leon.

Story
Hi! My name is Ruger, and I am a spunky, handsome, 4 year old, good doberboy looking for my furever family. I enjoy long walks on the beach, quiet nights at home with my family, a good meal, a warm bed and all the love I can get! If you are looking for a velcro Doberman, then look no further because this hunk of love likes to be right by your side. I am learning all about what it’s like to live in a nice warm (or cool in AZ) house. I enjoy the occasional bark at noises in the yard or things in the street, but it’s not excessive. I love to run in the yard and play with all of my toys. I especially love soccer balls! I am learning to be a good boy on a leash and love my weekly, medicated bath. I even jump in the bath tub all by myself. I will need someone who will be willing to continue my treatment for valley fever and give me a weekly bath (my fur was all gone but is slowly growing in). I like cats a little too much so I need to be in a cat free home. I need people who respect my space and I'm not sure I'd like tiny humans too much. I love my 12 year old human brother because he knows how to love me just the way I like it. I kind of like to be the boss of the other dogs so a slow intro is a must if I'm going to be around other dogs. I do get along well with my current doberbrother most of the time. I have been fully vetted, vaccinated, neutered and microchipped, and I'm ready to find my forever home. I know the perfect family is out there for me and I will patiently wait for you to find me. If you think I'm the one for you, please go to lovethemALLrescue.org/ruger to learn more and apply to adopt. I can't wait to meet you!

Story
Hi, I’m Franklin! I’m a 1.5 year old Chow/Pittie Mix who wants nothing more in this world than to be the center of attention, play with my toys and chewies, go on lots of walks, and to eat all the carbs (seriously, you must hide them from me!). I’m a smart boy who knows sit, down, stay, leave it and how to use a dog door. I’m also working hard on my leash skills and learning place! I love other dogs and will greatly benefit from a well- behaved, confident fur sibling in my forever home from whom I can take cues and help me deal with minor separation anxiety. I do get a little jealous when you pet other dogs first, so I need a family who will be patient with my vocalizations - I have a lot to say about the matter! I love humans and want nothing more than to be close to them as much as they’ll let me. I can be a little reserved with new people, but once they take the time to really get to know me I will love them, too! The dog trainer told my foster parents that it wasn’t too serious and could be resolved by strengthening my “place” and “leave it” commands. I also do really well with positive reinforcement, and I'm a very quick learner! I definitely still have my adorable puppy-like energy and find it hard not to get overexcited sometimes. Because of this I’d do best in a home with an active family with kids 12 and older. It would make me so happy if my mom and/or dad worked from home, too, because I know I'm going to love my forever family so much! My adoption fee includes my completed veterinary exams, neuter, microchip and vaccines. Apply to meet me at lovethemALLrescue.org/franklin. My big old hammy-smile will melt your heart in no time!

Story
Peanut butter and jelly. Milk and cookies. Sure, each of them are fine on their own, but the magic happens when you combine the two. The same goes for Mesa and Gilbert (and we aren’t talking about the East Valley). These two brothers have experienced a whirlwind during their short lives, including being rescued from a massive hoard of 150+ dogs living in the desert. Since their rescue, they have learned the comforts of a warm bed and a loving environment. Mesa and Gilbert love to run around and play together, but they are also the biggest love bugs who just want to curl up in your lap. Mesa and Gilbert like the company of other dogs, but tend to keep to each other when it comes to playtime. Gilbert is confident and playful – give that boy a toy, and he is set! Mesa is working on his confidence, but warms up quickly once he knows you’re his person. Mesa much prefers cuddle time to playtime. At just 5 years old, both boys are quick learners. Even though a home environment is new to them, they are catching on to basic commands, crate training, learning about lots of new sounds (okay, we admit, the sounds of a dishwasher and vacuum are a little scary!), and they are becoming champs at house training. With consistency and love, these boys will thrive as new additions to your home and family. Their adoption fee includes their completed veterinary exams, neuter, vaccines, microchip and dental work. Go to lovethemALLrescue.org/gilbertandmesa to meet these sweet boys. We can pretty much guarantee they'll have you head over heels in no time!

Story
Could this boy be any bit more handsome?? Nope, we don't think so either! And if you're looking for that perfect co-pilot to help guide you on your next adventure, Cooper is ready to hop in the car and lead the way! Cooper was originally saved from our county shelter just in the nick of time before it was placed on lockdown for a distemper outbreak. We busted him out at the very last minute, and he has been nothing but the happiest boy since. And we aren't kidding, Cooper is always ready and willing when it comes to heading out on an adventure. He not only loves to ride in the car, but he is also great on the leash, and long walks are his favorite. Taking in all the sights and smells puts the biggest smile on his face! Cooper does know that not every day can be quite so active. He is also totally fine with the joys of a well-balanced life, including the luxury of leisure. Our sweet boy is more than happy to cuddle up on the couch to watch a movie with you -- just don’t mind if he burrows under the covers or asks you to hold his paw during any scary parts of the movie. As a healthy, adult shepherd/kelpie/lab mix, Cooper is as perfect as they come. He is one smart boy and really enjoys learning new things. He’s already great at playing fetch, is potty trained, and he knows his basic commands. Cooper has been doing amazing in his foster home with his easy-going doggy brother, and he's even done well around older children. Cooper's adoption fee includes his completed veterinary exams, vaccines, microchip and neuter. Apply to meet this handsome guy at lovethemALLrescue.org/cooper. Those honey eyes will melt you in no time!

Story
Could this girl be anymore gorgeous?? If you can't tell from her soulful eyes or beautiful tripod-ness, Leia has quite the story in just her first year and a half of life... Leia (and her brother Luke) came to us from a major hoarding situation with 50 other dogs living on a five acre property. At 11 months old, she had never been touched by a human hand. To make matters worse, she had been living with a severely broken leg for months. Leia went to our fear dog specialist who does extensive work with feral dogs. We scheduled her for surgery in the hopes of saving her leg, but due to how long she had been living with the damage and how much she had grown through her puppyhood, her leg was beyond repair. After a failed attempt to fix it, we had it amputated. Having practically lived on three legs most of her life thus far, though, the amputation didn't slow her down in the least. Over the last 10 months, Leia has been working on her socialization and getting accustomed to life inside a home, with human interaction. She had previously never experienced the basics of being a dog in home....from food bowls and cozy beds to accepting pets and love from people. Leia made such incredible progress. with our trainer that she has even spent the last few months out of training and in a true foster home. Leia's foster family has done such amazing work continuing her training. She now seeks companionship, pets and affection from her people. She loves all the typical dog stuff such as toys, chewing on bones, soaking up the sun and playing with other dogs. Treats and snacks are hands down her favorite though! Leia has such a silly little personality, and it has been such a joy to see her sparkle start to shine. We truly cannot believe how far this girl has come. We are so proud of her and all of the progress she has made. She is definitely still shy around strangers, and she will take some time to warm up to new people. She’s not a dog who will run up to you, jump in your lap and give you kisses all over your face...yet! Her brother Luke has made it to that point, though, and based on her current progress, we are confident Leia will get there one day, too. For now, she needs experienced adopters with a calm, quiet home, consistent daily routine, no young children coming and going, and people who love her so unconditionally that they are willing to put in whatever work, patience and time she needs to continue to progress, at her pace. Leia's adoption fee includes her completed veterinary exams. vaccines, microchip, spay, and ongoing, lifelong training and support from our fear dog specialist. We are all here to help ensure Leia is as successful as she can be. She's been through so much already, and we just know her happily every after is out there for her. Apply at lovethemALLrescue.org/leia to come meet our beautiful girl. Her soulful eyes and her silly little personality will have you head over heels in no time!
