Story
Waka—whose name means “crew” in Māori—was rescued in Whangārei, New Zealand, and later brought to the U.S. Since 2016, she has been a beloved and well-cared-for companion to our mother. Recently, our mother moved into assisted living, and Waka came to live with us. With an upcoming international relocation, we’re unable to provide the long-term home Waka deserves, so we are looking for a new family where she can truly thrive. Waka is a healthy, gentle, slightly timid dog who responds well to patience and kindness. Her exact breed is unknown, but we believe she is around 11 years old. She is healthy, enjoys long walks, loves to play, and remains active and engaged. She would do especially well in a loving home where she can feel safe and settled. Our priority is finding Waka a warm, secure home with someone who will appreciate her sweet nature and give her the consistency she deserves.

Story
Garth is a sweet, gentle 10-year-old chihuahua with a huge heart and an even bigger personality. He’s extremely well-behaved, fully trained, and knows tons of tricks. His recall is excellent, and he listens beautifully. Garth has the best balance of energy he’s happy to be a lazy snuggle buddy on the couch, but he also loves to play with toys and run around with his younger brother, Joni. The two of them are very bonded, so we are looking to rehome them together when the right home comes along. He is very food- and treat-motivated, which makes him fun and easy to work with. Garth is great with kids and does well around other small dogs. He’s affectionate, loyal, and loves being part of whatever his people are doing. Garth would be a wonderful addition to a calm, loving home that wants a cuddly companion who also loves a little playtime

Oliver is a 5 year old Shepard mix. He is well behaved and trained. Unfortunately we have a new born baby in our house and he has not responded well to her. He is great with older children and loves to cuddle. He is great with our other dog and cat, loves to play and go on walks. He is very healthy and up to date on his vet visits.

Story
Meet Samson! Samson is a lovable, energetic boy who knows all his basic commands, including sit, down, and stay. He is a great listener & adores attention, especially cuddle time! He thrives with regular exercise and mental enrichment and would do best in a home that enjoys staying active with their dog. Samson has mild leash reactivity around other dogs, which improves with clear guidance and consistent handling. He can be a bit dominant with other male dogs, so those interactions are best managed, but he has a history of getting along well with other dogs and would benefit from continued training and structure. Due to a recent change in our family, we are seeking a home that can give Samson the time, care, and attention he deserves. He currently has an ear infection that will need veterinary care, and we want to be transparent so his future family can help him feel his best. Samson would make a wonderful companion for someone ready to invest time, love, and patience into.

Story
We received the Pups from the owners of the parents of the pups. They are siblings, and are about two and a half months old. We are looking for a loving home for them. They have become too much to manage with a small space that we have. They are smart, fun loving, and needs love.

Story
Olaf was acquired from a breeder at 8 weeks old. He is 1 year now. He is active and playful and affectionate to the family. He loves to chase balls and knows sit, down stay don't touch and take it. He responds to praise and treats. However we are in an apartment and he needs much more space and is more aggressive with other animals than we anticipated and his need for exercise exceeds out ability because of a new job, a new baby coming and the fact that we can't walk him around other animals or let him off leash.
