This sweet guy is looking for a forever home with someone who understands hounds and loves their quirks- especially the musical ones! True to his breed, Merk can be quite the talker and has a lot to say about the world around him. He's quite sensitive to outside stimuli and does get vocal in response. Merk could potentially do well with another dog in the home as he has had positive interactions with a few dogs, although he is selective with them and can be a bit much for other dogs. He is looking for an experienced dog owner who can help him feel secure and where he can relish in all the attention he needs. Although he can be quite excitable at times, Merk does settle down when things are calm and he is able to show off his affectionate and goofy side- giving you kisses every chance he gets! He loves to stand and lean against you while receiving butt rubs. Merk really enjoys squeaky toys, spiky balls are his favorite, and he will happily run after them and squeak them to his heart's content!Merk is looking for a home that can give him guidance, patience, and love. Noel is a lively and intelligent 3-month-old Belgian Malinois (mixed) puppy who is full of energy and potential. She is playful, affectionate, and social. She gets along well with other dogs and would benefit from confident canine friends. Like many young Malinois pups, she is jumpy and mouthy, still figuring out appropriate ways to play and interact. Noel has very little training so far, she will need patient owners willing to start from the absolute basics- structure, routine, boundaries, all done with positive reinforcement. She has showed some fearful behaviour and resource guarding that will benefit from structure, consistency, and confidence-building. As Noel is needing to learn manners and how to direct her energy to appropriate outlets, she would not be suited to a home with small children.True to her breed, she is bright, driven, and highly energetic. She requires a home that understands the needs of this demanding working breed. Boston is the sweetest senior you'll meet!He thinks he is a lapdog and loves to be close to his people. He loves people of all ages, gets along great with cats and has been in a foster home with other dogs seamlessly of all sizes.He does seem to be reactive to other dogs on occasion, so slow introductions are important to keep everyone happy.Boston is a funny guy and can be very vocal, but he is generally a chill guy, he just really loves food!Boston came into care suffering from some pretty uncomfortable skin infections due to untreated allergies. He is currently on a special diet for his allergies, and is finishing up a course of oral antibiotics to heal some lingering wounds.He has been vet checked and is in great health for his age.
